(I wonder if they'll notice if I kept Yuka.)

Ranma slowly let the haze of sleep lift, feeling more quesyness
today than there had been the past couple days. Suddenly a wave of
nausia struck, and Ranma bolted from the bed.
Feeling the bed shake, caused Akane to wake up in time to see Ranma
dash out of the room. Surprised, Akane followed Ranma to the bathroom
and heard a distinctive sound.
Ranma was hunched over the toilet, throwing up. Rarely getting sick,
Ranma was rather upset by having whatever illness this was.
"Are you all right?" Akane asked.
"Yeah, I think I got the flu or somethin'," Ranma replied.
"Or it could be..." Akane's voice trailed off not sure Ranma wanted to
hear it.
"Could be what?"
"Morning sickness."
"M-morning sickness?" Ranma's eyes widened in horror.
"You are over five weeks pregnant now."
Ranma slumped to the side of the toilet. She didn't want to hear that.
She didn't want to be reminded that Saotome Ranma, born and raised a
man amongst men was pregnant and was now even experiencing morning
sickness. Every reminder caused her to feel as if something had cut
deeper into her manhood, tore away at who HE was, leaving behind some
girl in his place.
Ranma didn't fight the tears that struck her. She wanted to know why
Kami-sama could be so cruel.
Akane, currently a guy, hugged his husband and rocked her in his arms.
He in no way liked that he was going to be a father. He should be the
one hunched over the toilet, vomiting and pregnant. He wasn't, it was
his husband who was going to give birth to their first child.
They remained like that for a long time. When they heard Kasumi call
for breakfast, Ranma pulled away from Akane and proceeded to wash her
face and brush her teeth.
Akane, thankful about the new water heater they bought for the house,
got some hot water from the sink and returned to being a girl. She
looked at Ranma, worry eteched into her face. "Are you going to be
okay now?"
Ranma sighed. "Ah, yeah. I don't feel as queasy now."
"If you want to talk about this..." Akane began.
"Akane, I HATE this." Ranma waved her hand over her stomache. "I'm a
guy, at least I'm suppose to be, and I'm pregnant. It's been easier to
ignore the past couple weeks, and then that happened." She pointed at
the toilet. "I can't stand being reminded that I'm going to be a
mother." Ranma started to cry again.
Akane hugged Ranma. "It's all right to be upset about this. I hate it
too. I should be pregnant." She bit her lower lip. "If I hadn't been
using birth control maybe I would be. I wish there was a way I could
fix this."
---------------------------
Ranma and Akane finally made it to the breakfast table. Nodoka's
katana was embedded into the floor next to Genma as an obvious threat
of what might happen if he tried to steal Ranma's or Akane's food.
Much to the surprise of most of those present, Ranma began to pick at
her food, eating rather slowly.
"What's wrong, boy? Aren't you hungry?" Genma asked.
"Not really," Ranma replied.
Genma looked oddly at his 'son.' "Are you all right?"
"No."
"Dear, leave Ranma alone. It's normal for... him to feel like this
now. He'll be eating a lot more come afternoon."

Chapter - ?
Akane laid on a hill in the corner of Nerima's largest park. She stared
up into the sky wanting answers she doubted would ever be answered.
"Hey, Akane!"
Akane turned her head and saw her friend Yuka approaching her. "Hi."
"Hi. What are you doing here, in a dress no less?" Yuka asked.
Akane sighed and stared once again into the sky. Her friend's curiousity
would be the death of her. She then shuddered at the thought and prayed
that would never happen. "I'm just thinking."
Yuka sat next to her friend. "Thinking about what?"
"A lot of things," Akane replied simply.
"Any reason you're wearing that dress?"
Akane sighed again. "I... I just needed to wear it."
"I have never heard of anyone willing, let alone needing, to wear a
school uniform, especially Furinkan's."
Akane chuckled a little. "I spent a lot of time in this dress last year.
There were times it seemed to be part of me. It's strangely easy to
fight in." She let out a long breath. "And I have had many fond
memmories while wearing it."
"But what if you get hit by water?"
Akane grimmaced. "I'd look like a crossdressing-pervert."
Yuka laid down trying to see what Akane was looking at. "Out of
curiousity...."
Akane looked at her friend as if she said something rather stupid. Since
when was Yuka _not_ curious.
"What's it like being a boy?"
Akane's lips flapped several times as if trying to come up with
something to say. She turned away from Yuka, trying to get herself back
together.
"Akane?"
"I don't know how to answer that."
"Why not? You've had that curse for a while now."
"Because I haven't gotten over how unnatural it feels. The reason I'm
wearing this dress is because it feels _right_! This is what I'm
supposed to be wearing, definitely not those andronious clothes."
Yuka looked at her friend with corcern etched onto her face. "Why don't
you talk to Ranma about this?"
"Because I don't have I right too."
"Akane, just because you got him pregnant doesn't mean you can't talk
about that."
Akane turned and glared at Yuka. "That's not why! I don't have a right
because I never tried to help him with his curse. Whenever he complained
about being a girl did I once ever try to understand why he didn't like
it, talk to him, or help him in any way? NO! I would ask him angrily,
'What's wrong with being a girl?' I know the answer now and wish to hell
I didn't. So many times he wanted help and I slammed the door in his
face, sometimes literally."
Yuka gulped. There was something wrong with being a girl? She hoped
that's not what Akane meant. "Well, um, what's wrong with being a girl?"
"Wrong? Ranma was born a boy. He should always live as a boy and die as
one. For him to be a girl is... just wrong. He should never have to know
what it's like to have periods or to give birth."
"Oh. So it's wrong for Ranma to be a girl, and you a boy."
"Yeah." Akane once again stared into the sky.
They remained quite for a while, then Yuka asked, "Akane, did Ranma ever
ask for help?"
"Ranma ask for help? That's a joke." Akane sighed. "Well, in some ways
he has, but he would never ask directly for help. Ever time he said he
hated his curse was a cry for help."
"If you say so."
"No. Now I know so. I hate this curse and would like help coping with
it. But I feel guilty every time Ranma helps me with it."
"Akane I'm sure you helped him in ways you might not realize. Hell,
you've accepted him as both a guy and a girl. Not many can do that. Sure
you made some mistakes, but I doubt they are as many or as bad as you
make them out to be. Besides, Ranma is your spouse now, and should help
you."
