======================================================================
This story is a One-shot fan fiction, based on an idea from Lord
Archive, my favorite fan fiction writer. This is done with his
knowledge and permission, as he has too many ideas to do them all, he
says. I know the feeling. This is a work of Fan Fiction, meaning this
is based on a piece of work of someone else, with additions and
adaptations for the piece to work. No copyright infringement is meant.
This story happens after the final volume of the Manga. I've never
really read it, so if I make some mistakes, my apologies.

Akane Tendo, and Ukyo Koniji stalked through the underbrush or the
Chinese forest. They were being led by the Jusenkyo Guide, who knew his
way around all these strange places near the Cursed Springs of Jusenkyo
that was his trust. The two young mistresses of the martial arts
scowled as they followed the Guide to their destination, the village of
the Chinese Amazons. Akane grimaced as she remembered the events that
had caused her to make an alliance with her sometime friend sometime
rival, and that led them to this mysterious part of China.
* * *
It had been a normal enough day at the Tendo dojo. Akane and
Ranma, who was female at the time, had to beat up Kuno again. Soon
after, Ranma stuck his foot in his mouth again and was sent flying by
Akane. While this was normal, the part about Ranma insulting Akane, and
being sent flying was getting rarer. Ever since the attempt at a
wedding by their families, Akane and Ranma had been getting along alot
more. The insults and punches were gentler, and less and less common.
Finally, at noon, they all sat down for a Kasumi home-cooked meal. That
went normally enough, with Ranma and his father eating like a pair of
vacume cleaners, and fighting over every piece of food. Suddenly, Akane
found herself getting very sleepy. She started to struggle agenst the
weight of her eyelids before she noticed that her Father and two sisters
were already lying with their heads on the table, and as she watched,
Nodoka Saotome followed their example. It was getting harder to keep
her eyes open, and as they fell for the last time, she saw Genma and
Ranma starting to stand on unsteady legs. Then everything went black.
Sometime later, she felt herself being shaken lightly. As she
struggled to open her eyes, she saw a figure with long brown hair
standing before her. Groggily, Akane pushed herself to stare at her
fellow rival for Ranma's affections, Ukyo! As Akane slowly sat up, she
looked around. She was lying in her room?
"Akane, are you alright? What happened? Where's Ranchan?" Ukyo
asked. It was evident by the look on her face that she was frightend of
something.
"I don't know." Muttered Akane. She glared at Ukyo. "What are
you doing here? Didn't you cause enough damage with the wedding?" Ukyo
blushed at that with great embaressment.
"I'm. . .sorry about that. I was desperate! If you had gone
through with the wedding, all my dreams and hopes would have been gone.
I . . . came over to apologize, to try and make everything right between
us. But when I got here, Everyone was asleep and I couldn't find
Ranchan! Where is he?!" Finally, what Ukyo was saying got through the
sleepy haze that clouded her mind. Ranma was gone!
"Akane!" Nabiki yelled. "Get to my room, everybody. Now!" Akane
and Ukyo moved quickly. Whenever one of Akane's older sisters yelled,
it must be big! Everyone crowded into Nabiki's room, most with a look
of sleepy puzzlement on their faces. Except for Mr. Saotome, who was
still sleeping in his panda form, and had been dragged in by Soun Tendo
and Nodoka. They found Nabiki staring at a note in her hand.
"I found this taped to my ledger when I woke up." Nabiki said.
"Listen to this!" And she quickly read the note to everyone.
TO THE TENDO HOUSEHOLD:
GREETINGS! I HOPE THAT YOU ALL HAD A PLEASENT SLEEP. AS YOU MAY
HAVE NOTICED, RANMA SAOTOME IS MISSING. HAVE NO FEAR, HE IS SAFE AND IN
OUR CARE. WE HAVE FINALLY DECIDED TO FINISH WITH THIS GAME OVER WHO
SHALL BE RANMA'S BRIDE, AS IT HAS BEEN SHOWN THAT ANY ATTEMPT TO BRING
HIM TOGETHER WITH ONE OF THEM HERE IN JAPAN WILL MEET WITH DISASTER. AS
SUCH, MY GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER AND I HAVE TAKEN UPON OURSELVES TO BRING
RANMA AND HIS LAWFUL BRIDE TO OUR ANCESTRAL VILLAGE, WHERE HE SHALL
BECOME HER HUSBAND, AS IS HIS DUTY. I APOLOGISE FOR THE LONG NAP, BUT
KNOWING RANMA'S EXPOSURE TO THE DRUGS AND POTIONS USED TO ATTEMPT TO
MAKE HIM MARRY ONE OR THE OTHER OF HIS FIANCES, I THOUGHT IT BEST THAT
WE MAKE SURE HE WOULD BE ASLEEP LONG ENOUGH FOR US TO BE HOME BEFORE HE
AWOKE.
THE MARRIAGE CEREMONY WILL BE CONDUCTED SOME TEN DAYS AFTER YOU
AWAKEN, WHICH SHOULD BE TWO DAYS FROM NOW. IF YOU WISH TO TRY AND
'RESCUE' RANMA, PLEASE ATTEMPT TO DO SO. WE WILL BE WAITING FOR YOU.
KHU LON
Kuno appeared out of thin air.
"Finally my love, you and the Pig-tailed Goddess shall be free of
the Vile Saotome's influence, and as a celebration, I shall date you!"
He was answered by a kick from Akane, and a blow from Ukyo's spatula.
"Drop dead, Kuno!" They yelled, as they sent him into LEO. All
this time, Soun Tendo was moaning how his daughter would never get
married, and the dojo was doomed. His tears forced Genma to pull an
umbrella out of nowhere in order for him to sleep. Nabiki turned back
to the family.
"All right, so what are we going to do to get Ranma back?"
* * *
Through bribing Kuno, and Nabiki's personal contacts, they were
able to book passage on a plane leaving for China the next day. Only
Ukyo and Akane went, since they were the only ones who stood a chance of
getting Ranma back safely. They had hoped to find Ryoga, but as usual,
he was lost. They had taken a map that they had bought, and on the
ninth day after waking up, they found themselves at Jusenkyo. They then
forced the Guide to take them to the Village of the Amazons. That is
where we begin.
It was the tenth day since they had awakend from Cologne's drugging
their food. The day when Ranma and Shampoo were to be wed. Akane was
wondering, why was she there? Why was she chasing after Ranma? After
the incident with Saffron, and the wedding, she had begun to believe
that Ranma really did love her, but did she love Ranma? That was the
question. Was she doing this for love, or because Ranma had saved her
life so many times? Akane looked over at Ukyo. Ukyo knew that she
loved Ranma, even though she believed Ranma's heart lay with Akane.
Still she was helping to save him. Why? Akane shook her head. Why
can't anything ever be simple? No time to think of that now, she
thought to herself. I've go to be ready for the village. There'll be a
small army waiting for us, and most of them will be at least as good as
we are. If we're going to have a chance, we've got to concentrate!
Cologne waited in her home in the Village of the Chinese Amazons.
She thought over her plan. It was a good one, she had been able to
convince the other Matriarchs of the Village to go along with it. Now
it was all in the hands of the Tendo girl. Cologne sighed. So much
trouble over just one man. But what a man, she thought. Ranma is the
only one whom I have found to be a worthy heir to my knowledge. Much as
I hate to admit it, Shampoo doesn't have the raw talent necessary! If
she did, then I doubt that Ranma would have won so easily in the first
place. Cologne's thoughts turned to the time, centuries ago, when she
had been a beautiful young warrior, in love. In love with Happosai of
all people. Well, at least 'her' choice of first loves is better than
mine was. They are both supremly talented, but Ranma is the more
honorable of the two. He will make a fine member of the family, and as
Happosai's heir, he will bring the techniques he created into the
Village, and we will regain the treasures he stole from us long ago!
Cologne was still musing over her thoughts when a nock came at her door.
"Come in." Cologne rasped. As the Eldest of the Elders of the
Village, no one would disturb her without ample reason. One of the
Village scouts, a cousin of Shampoo's came in and bowed to Cologne.
"The woman you told us to watch for is now on Village lands,
Matriach, she is with the Guide." She said. "There is also another
young woman with her, dressed in mens clothing, and carrying what
appears to be a giant spatula." The scout waited for her orders.
Cologne was startled. After the incident at the wedding, she
wouldn't have thought that the Koniji girl would be willing to help
Akane, or that Akane would be willing to accept that help. No matter,
she would be helpful, and could be included in the plan.
"Allow the two of them to enter the Village unharmed. Gather all
the young warriors and have them ready for a fight. Tell them they are
to defeat the outsiders, but not to do them any serious injury. When
you have overcome them, place them in the empty hut next to the one the
Groom is waiting in." The scout hurried out with her orders. Now,
Cologne thought, to prepare myself for the final move in this game. It
all hinges on those young ladies.
Akane and Ukyo rushed into the Village, greeted by several dozen
women warriors. The two young ladies attempted to dodge and avoid any
confrontation with an Amazon. When that was impossible, they simply
knocked the feet out from under one of them, or attempted to throw them
into each other to slow them down. This worked for a moment, but, while
none of them were Shampoo's equal in skill or strength, their numbers
made up for it, and soon, Akane and Ukyo were brought down.
They awoke to find themselves lying in a hut, with Cologne standing
over them.
"You're awake, I'm glad." She said. "Miss Koniji, I'm surprised
to see you here. No matter. I have something to speak to the both of
you about." Ukyo and Akane looked at each other. What could the old
woman want?
"As you know, there is the law in our Village that states that a
woman who is defeated by an outsider woman, must track down and defeat
that woman, in honorable combat to the death. After your little battle,
I'm sure that you could be said to have defeated quite a few of our
warriors. Normally, this, and the fact that you have constantly
interfered with Shampoo's attempts to gain her rightful husband, would
earn the two of you the Kiss of Death. Now, I know that Son-in-Law
cares very deeply for the two of you, and since he's become like a son
to me, I wouldn't want to hurt him by having to have the two of you
killed. So, I have a proposal for you. The two of you become adopted
into our Village, thereby protecting you from the Kiss of Death law. As
Amazon's, since the two of you have lost to Ranma in battle, and as he
is not yet completely married to Shampoo, all three of you would be his
legitimate wives."
"And if we refuse?" Akane asked. Not that she didn't 'want' to
marry Ranma, but she had never liked being forced into something. Ukyo
was merely silent. This was her chance, she thought. I can marry
Ranchan and I wouldn't have to worry about him thinking this was a
breach of his honor. She would still have to share Ranma, but it would
be worth it to be married to him. Ukyo waited for Cologne's answer.
"Then, you die." Cologne said, as calmly as if she was talking
about what was for their next meal. "I will give you a moment to think
about it." As Cologne turned to go, she had one final remark. "Miss
Tendo, do not allow your pride to make you forget that you love him.
Ranma has fought with pride, honor, and love for you. Try to remember
that." And she left. Once outside, and past the guards, she was met by
Shampoo.
"Great-grandmother?" Shampoo inquired. Cologne gestured for her
to follow her to Colognes hut. Once there, she motioned for Shampoo to
speak.
"Great-grandmother, why did you offer them a chance to be Amazons?"
Cologne smiled at her. "Do you truly wish for them to die?"
Shampoo shook her head. Though they had been rivals for Ranma's
affections, and she had teased and insulted them, they, along with Ranma
and Mousse, were the closest she had to friends in Japan. Cologne
smiled.
"Ranma is the most talented warrior I have encountered in
centuries." Cologne said. "If Ranma ever unleashes his full skill
against an opponent, I hold little hope for their survival. And should
that skill be powered by a blood rage and despair, then no one, possibly
not even I, would be safe. Just look at what happend to Saffron when he
endangered the Tendo girls life! Also, you know the side effects of
your Jusenkyo curse, the ability to act as a magnet for cold water.
With Ranma around, sooner or later the both of you will be together when
you transform, and you will send him into the Nekoken. Only the Tendo
girl can control him in that state! They are strong warriors. They
will make fine additions to our Village." With that said, the matter
was closed. All that remained, was the ladies answer. Cologne returned
to hut with the prisinors in it. She felt certain of what they would
say.
Epilogue:
Akane and Ukyo Saotome leaned against each other, tears rolling
down their faces, and their shoulders shaking with surpressed emotion,
as their mutual husband, Ranma Saotome, lay motionless on the floor.
"Oh Ranma." Akane cried. Then the two ladies looked at Ranma's
face, and no longer able to contain themselves, they burst out . . .
laughing. The noise brought the fourth member of their family, Shampoo
Saotome to the room. She was startled to see her fellow wives laughing
while their husband lay on the floor with a dazed look on his face. She
rushed to Ranma's side.
"What happened?" She asked the two laughing ladies. Her command
of the Japanese language had improved remarkably in the months since
their marriage. It hadn't been a lack of intelligence that had held her
back from mastering it, but rather an overabundance of pride; she had
thought that she would soon have Ranma as her husband and return to her
Village in China, so why should she master a language that she would
likely never need again? Since moving back to Japan, she had given in
and started to seriously work on the language. Akane and Ukyo struggled
with themselves and finally got enough control to answer Shampoo just as
Ranma began to come around.
"Oh it's nothing much." Ukyo said, giggling.
"We just told Ranma that he's going to be a father." Akane said,
with a cheerful grin.
"You mean . . . both of you?" Shampoo asked. The ladies nodded,
happily. Shampoo grinned, touching her stomach. "That's good. I'm
glad 'my' daughter won't be alone growing up." Hearing this, the other
ladies cried out and rushed over to congratulate the third new mother to
be. Ranma, fated dead away, again, at the news that the third of his
three wives was pregnant.
