Ryoga Hibiki (aka P-chan)

Ryoga Hibiki is Ranma's rival since Junior high. Ryoga and Ranma first met in a school cafeteria at their old junior high school. The woman from the caf threw this bread at a bunch of students and whoever gets it is free. Anyway, Ryoga was so close to getting the bread for himself, when Ranma shows up and takes the bread for himself.

Ryoga was mad of course. "You! You took my bread! How dare you! Who are you?!" he yelled at Ranma.

Ranma only smiled & placed the bread on his mouth. "I'm Ranma Saotome."

Ever since then, the two have become rivals and they try to race to get the bread first everyday.

Then one day, Ryoga challenges Ranma into a fight. They were to meet at a vacant lot. Ranma waited for Ryoga for three days and he didn't show up. But Ryoga meant to show up. The only reason that he stood him up (which he didn't mean to) was because he got lost. Ryoga is the eternal lost boy who has no sense of direction whatsoever.

He then follows Ranma to China, when he fell into this cursed spring of Jusenkyo. He was knocked out by the girl-type Ranma. From then on, whenever he is splashed with cold water, he turns into a cute black little pig. Genma (the panda type) found him (as a pig) and tried to cook him. But since he was put in a pot of boiling water, he changed back into a guy.

So he followed Ranma to Furinkan High School, and fought him there to get his revenge about the curse. As they were fighting, everything got out of hand. When Ryoga threw his belt, Ranma kicked it off and then it cut off Akane's long hair.
