Don't leave me behind,
Alone in this place,
Of twisted steel and shattered glass.
Abandon me not,
Deserted in this dark abyss,
Surrounded by the ashes of terror, agony, and wrath.
Don't let go of my hand,
And let me fall,
Into that endless chasm of devouring darkness.
Don't release my grasp,
And send me slipping into eternal night,
Spinning, spiraling, a lost child with broken wings,
Falling exorably down...
Don't let go of my hand,
Stop and look back.
Don't leave me behind...
Behind to Death.
