Inner Senshi


The Inner Senshi include the princess of the moon, who is the Senshi leader, her four guardians (with Venus as their leader), and the future princess.
While most of this info is on the Japanese show, I've included some English info for those who've only seen the dub.
Notes=Japanese names are listed Japanese style, last name first.
How to decipher the love information: RED = true mutual love VIOLETRED = intense unrequited love HOTPINK = one-way crush LIGHTBLUE = not love, but a special feeling (ex: has “dated” at one time but wasn’t truly in love)
I tried to list them in the approximate order they fall in love (but also in rank of importance, i.e. true love comes first). Everything’s based on what I’ve concluded, so there’s bound to be some disagreement. But I tried my best to be thorough!

In the time of the first Silver Millennium, Usagi was Princess Serenity, destined to rule the universe. Reborn as Tsukino Usagi, she isn't very good at school and is quite a crybaby. She didn't fight well as a Sailor Senshi at first, but as time progressed, she matured and became the leader she needs to be. She is a very good friend, and there are few people that she meets that wouldn't risk their lives for her. She went to Juuban Jr. High, as well as Juuban High School. Her boyfriend, Chiba Mamoru, has been her love since the days of the first Silver Millennium. In the 30th century, she will become Neo Queen Serenity and rule over Crystal Tokyo in the second Silver Millennium along with her husband, King Endymion (Mamoru).

Ami is very intelligent, and constantly gets perfect scores on exams. As Sailor Mercury, she is needed to compute the enemies' weak points. She attended Juuban Jr. High as well as Juuban High School. For a brief time, she had a boyfriend named Urawa, one of the 7 crystal carriers who could predict the future. She has a kind heart and is liked a lot by her friends.

Rei may seen like a snob at first, but she really does care about her friends, especially Usagi. She is the only one of the girls who goes to a private school, T*A Private Girls' Academy. Her mother died when she was young, and she chooses to live with her grandpa instead of her dad because she doesn't get along with him well. As Sailor Mars, her spiritual powers help to vanquish the evil. Yuuchiro is a man who appeared at her temple and lived there afterwards. Although she didn't like him at first, she soon learned how much he cared for her, and she sometimes thinks of him as a boyfriend.

Mako-chan, as she prefers to be called, is very tall and athletic, but she prefers to be really feminine. She's a boy crazy girl, and almost every boy she meets reminds her of her first boyfriend, the only boy she ever really cared about. She's a great cook and loves to read romance novels. She attended Juuban Jr. High with Usagi & Ami and goes to Juuban High School, as well. Her parents died in an airplane crash, and so she lives alone. As Sailor Jupiter, she often is the first to attack and is very strong.

Minako was the original Sailor Senshi, Sailor V, and fought crime in England long before Sailor Moon came around. During her stay in England, she fell in love with a boy named Alan, but when she discovered her friend, Katarina, also loved him, she faked her death as Sailor V so they could be together, then moved back to Tokyo. He's the only one she ever really loved, but that doesn't stop her from being boy crazy. She attended Shibakouen Jr. High and then Juuban High School. She's a poor student, just like Usagi, and she's also very late a lot of the time. She's very goofy, but when things get serious, you can always count on her to pull through.

First mysteriously appearing during the second season, she came back from the future to find the Silver Imperial Crystal to save her mother. (She originally had disobeyed her mother and stole it hoping to become a lady fast, which caused the Black Moon to be able to invade when its barrier around Crystal Tokyo dropped.) Kidnapped by the Black Moon, they brainwashed her and turned her into the Black Lady, an evil grown-up version of herself. Thanks to the love of her friends, she turned back into her normal self and helped Sailor Moon defeat the Black Moon. She then returned home to the future, but appeared again halfway through the 3rd season with a note from her mother saying she need to learn how to become a good Sailor Senshi. At first her attacks weren't harmful, but during the 4th season, she met a Pegasus in her dreams that powered her up. The pegasus was actually a boy, Erios, trapped in that form, and after a while Chibiusa fell in love with him. She returns home to the future, satisfied that she is a good Sailor Senshi, at the beginning of the 5th season. As Sailor Chibimoon, she is very important in the 4th season because she is needed for Sailor Moon to do her attack.
