Professor Souichi Tomoe

Hotaru Tomoe is the only one, but Usagi, that has a father that actually appears in the Series. Souichi Tomoe was a scientist married to Keiko, and had a daughter called Hotaru. But one day, a explotion happened and both Keiko and Hotaru were killed. An Alien made a deal with him to give his daughter a new life, and he accepted. But he was possessed by an entity, as his daughter.

Uranus and Neptune healed him after Mistress 9 had awake, and he tried to save his daughter. His love made Hotaru react and Sailor Saturn awake, etc. Afterwards Souichi lost his memories, except Hotaru. Michiru and Haruka returned baby Hotaru to him. He met then Chibi-Usa, who was delighted by seeing her friend as a baby. And he lives happily with his daughter, till Neherenia returns. Sailor Pluto asked to take Hotaru to use her powers, and so, she took her away to raise with Haruka and Michiru. No more is said of Souichi after that.  But in the manga, he dies.
