Minako is a girl who wants to have fun. She lives with her parents, and loves gym class.. Once, in her gym class, a white cat jumped to her. All that day, this cat appeared near her. Finally it talked to her, (!) and she turned to Sailor V, that was her Code Name for fighting. The talking cat, called Artemis, stayed with her. Minako's birth flower is dahlia, which means fickleness.

          Minako has an interesting love life in the manga. She  loves enemies, friends, actors, policemen, etc. Her most important guy is Ace, who finally is an enemy. He also was in his past life Adonis, her mystical lover, and was in love with Sailor Venus then. But he finally dies. After this, Sailor V turns to Sailor Venus, and starts searching for her allies, ending the Manga.

Some of her friends in the Manga are:
Hikaru.- Her best friend since elementary school.
Amano Gurikazu.- As Umino in SM, the nerd that likes Minako.
Natsuna Sakurada.- The boss of Wakagi (see Other) who is a big fan of Sailor V and discovers her identity at last.
NOTE: Usagi, Naru, Ami, Rei and Mako are in the manga. Minako doesn't focus on them even when they are really close to her.
