What makes Haruka and Michiru so interesting is how unique their relationship is.  They love each other very deeply, share interests but complement each other at the same time, they trust each other, even when jealously comes a little sometimes...  Thaey are meant to be.

Some people don't see these just for the fact that they are of the same gender.  Well, getting in the danger of hurting someon'e sensitive feelings, I think they should just let them be.  First: they aren't real.  Second: If they were real, even so nobody should judge others because they do something they won't do.   Whatever.

Naoko Takeuchi once said:  Real love can exist in many ways.  Haruka acts and dresses as a biy, so its obvious for her that she loves Michiru.
