There is a post on rec.arts.anime.misc saying that the US soundtrack of
"Princess Mononoke" will be released on Sept 17 by Milan records.  The
source of this news is the magazine Film Score Monthly.  They have a
website at

A search there pulled up a mention from an earlier edition this month

and it says the release date is Oct 12.  Whatever the date, this is the
first official word of US soundtrack release.  Going over to Milan Records'
website at www.milanrecords.com shows they release soundtracks to art
house films, but they don't have anything about upcoming releases.

I checked both amazon.com and towerrecords.com, but neither has it
listed yet.
