For those of you that know me well,
you know that one of the things I value the most in life is relationship. I treasure
my relationships with people and my relationship with God. I'm not good with words
and I tend to keep a lot of things to myself. That's why those that know me well
tell me that I think too much, because somehow my thoughts just never seem to get out of
my head. They just keep bouncing back and forth in my head till they're either
replaced by new thoughts or I get a headache, whichever one comes first. My point
is... I know that one of these days I'm going to regret not allowing my thoughts of
appreciation out to those that I care about. I heard this song on the radio this summer
and I fell in love with it. So, here's a song that I want to share with all of my
friends.
To all my friends I've shared my
life with:
I Will Be Your Friend
by Michael W. Smith
So many memories and so many miles
The road that stretches behind us
We've had some laughter and our share of tears
But all these moments unites us
I'll be your friend for a lifetime
Against the wind and the rain of every season
Won't walk away in the hard times
I'll will be your friend
I'm saying, I will be your friend
Sure as the river runs to the sea
High as the mountain that reaches
You were there by my side till the end
And helped me on my feet again
I'll be your friend for a lifetime
Against the wind and the rain of every season
Won't walk away in the hard times
I'll will be your friend
I'm saying, I will be your friend
So in the valley walk on
Don't' have to face it alone
'Cause in the hard times
We keep growing strong
As we learn As we live
That we live when we give
I'll be your friend for a lifetime
Against the wind and the rain of every season
Won't walk away in the hard times
I'll will be your friend
I'm saying, I will be your friend
Love, Connie
