The tension in the Court Room made Small Lady extremely uneasy. She could see all
the worried faces from her throne chair clearly. Afterall, this was the first national crisis without
Neo-Queen Serenity and Neo-King Endymion to attend to.
Finally, she announced after a deep breath, We ve lost contact completely with the King
and the Queen approximately an hour ago.
It was exactly one hour, three minutes and thrity seconds ago. Mercury added,
providing the more accurate data. I tried to contact with them with the communicator, but
there was no response. So I think something may have happened to them.
I suggest that we should keep this a secret to the kingdom. Mars pondered. There s
no need to cause insecurity to the officials and the kingdom yet. And in the mean time, we ll try
our best to find them.
We only have 152 hours. Mercury added. We can only keep the news secret from the
people up until the Day of Serenity.
Oh! I don t believe it! We lost them in less than sixteen hours! Venus muttered.
Fifteen hours and thirty-three minutes to be exact. Where would they be now?
Mercury said, worried.
When was the last time we talked to them through the communicator? Small Lady
inqired.
Two hours and seventeen minutes fourteen seconds ago. Mercury replied. They just
reached Crystal Fantasia by then.
They should still be in Crystal Fantasia then. I don t think they can get anywhere out of
that city within two hours. Small Lady concluded.
But how do we begin the search? Jupiter frowned. If the Court all leave the city all
of a sudden, people will know something is wrong.
And Queen Small Lady needs to remain on the throne while the Queen and the King are
away, to avoid curiosity. Mars added.
Which means everyone of the Court needs to remain in Crystal Tokyo. That leaves only
one person free to search for our lost Majesties. Small Lady finished.
Everyone turned and looked at Sailor Saturn, who stood there the whole time in silence.
Then, realizing what the others were up to, she pointed at herself on the nose with her index
finger and asked in surprise.
Me?
Yes, you, Sailor Saturn. Small Lady nodded. You re the only suitable person for this
important mission.
Venus muttered to herself, You expect a senshi in charge of Death and Destruction to
goo on a mission like that? Would the mission itself be destroyed instead?
Saturn ignored Venus comment and curtseyed to accept the mission.
As you command, your Majesty.
Saturn s power is the strongest of us after the Queen herself. Mercury nodded
agreement, assuring Venus. And most of the people isn t aware of her existence in the kingdom,
since there s almost nothing she could destroy in the past thousand years. Yes, she s the one.

Serenity woke in absolute darkness and silence.
Where was she? She asked herself.
Mamo-chan! Mamo-chan! Are you there? She called out, and her echo remained
there for a long time until it finally dissolved back into complete silence.
Mamo-chan! Where are you? Serenity called again, but still there was no response.
What had happened? Serenity asked herself. One moment ago she was sitting in front
of Vil and Eve s fireplace, and now she s here, alone in the darkness, out in the middle of no
where. What had happened?
She moved around, and realized she wasn t on the ground. She was floating, floating in
the darkness, floating in a void.
Mamo-chan! She cried, eyes filled with tears. Where are you? Mamo-chan!
Again, there was no response. She tried to make out where she was, but failed. She was
almost sure now that someone, or something had conjured her into a void. With no escape.
No, no, Endymion, I need you, where are you now, my love? She sobbed.
Usako......
What was that? Startled, she listened carefully. Again there was the whisper.
Usako......where are you? Usako......
Serenity followed the direction of the faint whisper and struggled to reach there blindly.
Mamo-chan! Serenity screamed at the top of her lungs, hoping that he could hear her
in the emptiness.
Usako! The whisper became louder. Serenity hurried towards it. Then her hand
touched something warm and solid. A human hand!
Mamo-chan! Is that you? Serenity exclaimed tearfully with joy.
Oh! Usako! At last! The other voice exclaimed after her.
My Endymion, oh my love! Serenity hugged the hand to her cheeks and wetted it
with her tears.
Huh? What are you talking about, sister? The other voice sounded startled and
curious.
Serenity jerked away, yelling at the top of her lungs again, You re not Mamo-chan!
Who are you? She paused for a second, then exclaimed in horror, Vil! You re Vil!
Smart girl. Vil said coldly.
Vil! What are you trying to do to us? Where s Mamo-chan? Serenity demanded.
Vil didn t answer her question, instead he asked, Who were you calling Endymion?
Wasn t Mamoru your brother?
Serenity tensed. She blew the secret! Now how can she hide the fact that they were the
King and Queen of the kingdom from Vil?
She was hesitating. Suddenly she felt a slap on her face. Serenity screamed, and covered
her right side of her cheek with her hand in pain. Vil had slapped her!
Answer my question! Brat! Vil said coldly. Or I ll make sure you suffer!
Who are you really, Vil? Serenity avoided the question. It would be the end of her and
Endymion if she answered!
That s none of your business! Just answer my question! Vil snapped.
I called him Endymion as a joke. Serenity lied, but evidently she wasn t a good lier.
Her voice shook and her tone was unstable. We call each other different names, just for fun.
But isn t that the last of names you d use for a joke? The people in this kingdom respect
their King and Queen like a god and goddess. And the King s name is Endymion. Vil countered,
not believing her.
She was never good at lying! Serenity cursed herself. She knew she couldn t fool Vil.
Only if she could escape from this void......Would the power of the Imperial Silver Crystal work
here? She thought suddenly.
But it s sure worth a try!
Serenity concentrated, and her body started to glow in the darkness.
Silver Moon Crystal Power! Make up! Serenity shouted.
She opened her eyes, and realized she was standing in front of Eve and Vil s house in her
senshi uniform as Eternal Sailor Moon. She had escaped!

Endymion opened his eyes, and found himself in a void of absolute darkness.
What happened? He asked himself. Hadn t he been sleeping on Vil s bed? How did he
get here?
Usako! Where are you, Usako? Can you hear me? Endymion called out, but there
was, of course, no response. He repeated his call a few times and finally gave up.
Deal with the obvious first. He told himself. If he can t save himself, how can he save
Serenity? And his primary concern is: where was he?
Endymion moved around, but couldn t feel anything within his grasp. Then suddenly he
heard something, it was a faint whisper.
Mamoru......
Endymion started, and quickly moved towards the direction of where the sound had
come from. Was it Serenity?
Mamoru......Mamoru...... The voice repeated.
Endymion stopped abruptly. Something s wrong. He told himself. Serenity always
called him Mamo-chan......Why would she call him Mamoru now?
The voice wasn t Serenity!
Mamoru! I m Usako. Mamoru! Where are you? The voice became louder and closer.
Usako? Endymion pretended he was fooled by the whisper. He wanted to know who
the whispering voice belonged to, and what he/she was up to. Is that you?
Oh! Mamoru, is it really you? Oh! I was so scared! The voice pleaded.
Usako! Where are we now? Endymion asked with the slightest hope that the voice
would be dumb enough to provide an answer.
I don t know. Do you? The voice wasn t stupid, after all.
I wish I do. Endymion replied honestly.
Oh! Brother! What do we do now? The voice sobbed spuriously.
Brother! Endymion blinked. The real Serenity would have blurted out her tears like
flows of a river and it would be quite an effort to stop her instead of asking questions! And to call
him brother! It was Eve!
I don t know, Eve, maybe you can tell me. Endymion mocked.
How did you know? Eve demanded dangerously.
I know my Usako. Endymion said simply. How could he not know and identify his own
wife?
We underestimated you. Eve said, narrowing her eyes. Now that you know our
secret, I must kill you.
Wait! Why would you want to fool me before? Endymion demanded.
Because once I fooled you, I can get into your mind and control you, making you my
slave. But since now that it won t work, I ll have to kill you.
No, you won t have a chance! Endymion laughed. Because you don t know who you
are up against!
Before Eve could respond, Endymion shouted, Golden Crystal Power, Make up!
Suddenly the void disappeared, and he stood beside his wife in his Tuxedo Kamen outfit
in front of Vil and Eve s house. Then, all of a sudden, the house was gone, too, while Eve and Vil
floated in the air, staring at them with hatred.
Hi! Eternal Sailor Moon. Tuxedo Mask smiled. You got out faster than I did!
Because I m smarter than you, idiot. Eternal Sailor Moon laughed, and gave her love a
quick kiss on the lips.
What a sweet little scene. Eve smile poisonously.
So sweet I m getting cavities! Vil finished up for her.
Then, Sailor Moon stepped forward and declared, Alright, back to business. I am Sailor
Moon! Champion of Love and Justice. On behalf of the moon, I ll right all wrongs and triumph
over evil. And that means YOU! She pointed at Eve and Vil.
Oh! Yeah? I m real scared now! Eve laughed sarcastically.
Die! Vil charged beside her. A bolt of energy leaped from his hand towards Sailor
Moon and Tuxedo Kamen.
Watch out! Tuxedo Kamen yelled, grabbing Sailor Moon s hand and dragging her
away from the bolt just in time.
Thank you, Tuxedo Kamen. Sailor Moon breathed.
You re always too into your little speech. Tuxedo Kamen teased.
Well, I m not worried while you re by my side.
Enough! Eve snapped, and teamed up with Vil in their next attack. The bolt was
twice as powerful as before this time.
Silence Block!
A dome-shaped purple bubble appeared and enclosed Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen
within, protecting them. The bolt dissolved in the purple wall of the bubble shield and
disappeared with the bubble itself.
Sailor Saturn! Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen exclaimed together happily.
Sorry, I m late. Sailor Saturn smiled and hurried towards them with her Glaive in her
hands.
How come you re here? Sailor Moon asked.
I ll explain later. Saturn said. Right now, let s get rid of these two aliens first.
Right!
Death Reborn Revolution! Saturn attacked.
Eve and Vil dodged from the attack, and a huge hole appeared where the attack had
struck, the landscape now looked like it just been struck by a giant meteorite the size of the
moon.
Sailor Moon walked up to Saturn and tapped on her shoulder, Take it easy, Saturn. It
takes a great amount of energy to undo your destructive works.
Ooops! Sorry about that, your Majesty. Saturn blushed and made a cute, sheepish
face.
Eve already launched out another attack while they were talking.
Watch this! And another bolt of dark power struck out towards Sailor Moon and
Sailor Saturn.
A red rose cut through the air, blocked the attack, and penetrated the ground.
Don t get distracted, Sailor Moon. You must vanquish these evil creatures. Although
there are many beautiful things in the world, you are still the only one in my heart, always. I
believe in you. Tuxedo Kamen declared.
Alright, time to take out the trash! Sailor Moon announced, and held out her Eternal
Tier.
Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!
Yes! We ve dusted them! Sailor Moon cheered, jumping up and down. Saturn and
Endymion just smiled and waited patiently for her.
You haven t seen the last of us! Eve and Vil appeared behind them. Evidently Sailor
Moon s attack had missed them. We ll come back for you! And you ll pay for what you did
today!
And then they disappeared.

Void.
So they re actually Neo-King Endymion and Neo-Queen Serenity. Eve said darkly.
We were so close in capturing their souls and taking over the kingdom! Vil groaned.
But we ll have no chance against the invincible Crystal Palace defense. If we are to take
their souls, we must do it before they get back inside the palace! Eve posed.
Then we shall plot another attack before they return. Vil nodded. We ll capture their
souls, as well as their kingdom!
But do not underestimate them. Eve pointed out. Especially that Sailor Saturn! She
has the power to destroy the whole universe! And also that Sailor Moon brat, she sure is klutz,
but she and her Silver Crystal was powerful enough to create a whole universe from nothing!
Hmmm......I would like to taste their souls...... Vil licked his lips hungrily.

I knew that meat-ball-headed Queeny would get into some trouble. Uranus sighed.
Just what happened to them?
Two aliens were attacking them. We still cannot verify the nature of the two aliens yet.
Mercury replied.
But isn t Saturn powerful enough to destroy them? Along with Sailor Moon and
Tuxedo Kamen. Well, I understand they ve been out of practice for a while, but, surely, they
could have accomplished something? Neptune asked.
Supposedly, yes. Mercury nodded. But the team had failed to destroy the aliens in
their prior battle. Therefore, our Majesty Queen Small Lady is requesting your help to guide
Neo-King Endymion and Neo-Queen Serenity back to Crystal Tokyo. Just in case the evil
powers are stronger than they could handle. We are not taking any chances, not when the life of the two most important people of the kingdom is in peril.
Well, Saturn could simply destroy the world again and our Neo-Queen Serenity create it
again, if worst come to worst. Uranus teased.
But that would require a tremendous amount of energy, and we do not wish to do that
if it is not necessary. Mercury said seriously, missing the joke.
Talking with you is no fun, Mercury! Uranus laughed. Just give us the coordinates.
We ll get there as soon as possible, before our meat-ball-headed Queen gets into any more
troubles. The Outer Defense doesn t need us anyway, since it is automatic, and the computer
does all the works. Besides, there doesn t seem to be anyone or anything invading from the outer
space. We could just ask Pluto to pay extra attention at the Time Gate while we re away.
Done. Mercury typed rapidly on her mini computer. Pluto is already notified. You
can begin your journey now!

Now I can t wait to get back to the Crystal Palace for a nice, undisturbed little nap.
Serenity said.
Little nap? Isn t the kingdom s business suppose to be dealt with first? Endymion
inquired teasingly.
Leave that to Small Lady for now. She s temporarily the Queen, isn t she? Serenity
said with a yawn.
Not as long as you re in the Crystal Palace yourself. Her status will go back to
Princess when you go back. There can t be two Queens at the same time, unless I have
another wife. Endymion smiled.
Don t you dare! Serenity hissed, then softened. Then there will be you. You ll take
care of those things for me, right? Serenity said, her head leaning against Endymion s shoulder,
eyes bewitching.
Endymion sighed and resignedly gave up the argument.
I still don t believe those two Nega-creatures got away. Saturn said, still upset about
the battle.
Take it easy, Saturn. They ll never be able to hurt us once we get back inside the
Crystal Palace defenses. Serenity confronted her.
And that will leave us all vulnerable to them from here all the way until we reach the
palace. Those aliens won t give up that easily. Saturn felt uneasy.
Then the only solution to that would be to try to get back to the Crystal Palace as soon
as possible. There s no point in wasting time worrying about it out here. Endymion concluded.
Meatball-head, I m afraid we have to sacrifice this little nice journey back to the palace by the
train but to use Sailor Teleport for safety.
Awwww...... Serenity lowered her head in disappointment, but agreed that this was
the only solution.
But before Serenity and Endymion could transform into their battling identities and use
the Sailor Teleport power, Eve and Vil appeared in mid-air, interrupting their little ploy.
Think we d let our prey get away that easily? Eve and Vil said in chorus, smiling
evilly.
It s them! Saturn cried out.
Without hesitation, Serenity and Endymion transformed. Saturn, who was already in
uniform, did not need to transform.

And instantly, Eternal Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen appeared before them, all ready
to battle.
Eve had already launched her first attack. A dark power bolt sliced through the air at
Sailor Moon. Tuxedo Kamen hauled his wife away just in time before the bolt hit her while she
failed to notice it.

Eve dodged the sudden attack, but it still left an ugly cut on her shoulder, barely
catching her.
In front of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen, knelt two sailors, one with short, blonde hair
like a tomboy and the other with greenish-blue hair shoulder length hair -- Uranus and Neptune.
Your Majesties, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune at your service! The two declared
together.
Just in time, Uranus! Neptune! Sailor Moon called. Thanks for coming!
You re welcome, your Majesty. It s our duty to make sure you re safe. Neptune
smiled.
Silence Block!
It turned out that Eve and Vil were still attacking them while they were talking, but
Saturn had smoothly and expertly took care of it.
Don t lose yourselves in conversation! Saturn teased. There s a battle going on at the
moment!
But Neptune was furious, she flared as she faced the aliens, I m coming to get you! You
monsters!

This time Eve got hit really badly, but she was just wounded.
You ll pay for that! Seaweed-headed bimble! Vil was enraged, and aimed his bolt at
Neptune. But she was prepared, and dodged neatly from the deadly attack. But she forgot
Tuxedo Kamen was standing behind her, and didn t see the bolt coming until it was too late.
Sailor Moon, who happened to be standing beside him at the time and while her vision wasn t
blocked by Neptune s body, took action, which was extremely rare for her. She leaped in front of
her love, preventing the bolt from hitting him.
The bolt hit her on the chest. She screamed in pain, but the bolt was penetrating her,
slowly wrenching something from her body. He was after her soul! When the senshi and Tuxedo
Kamen finally recovered from shock, and realized what had happened, it was already too late.
Her soul, shining with pure white light that brightened the day, flew out of her body via the
penetrating bolt that was extended from Vil s hand. The evil alien grabbed the blazing soul with
his free hand with a evil grin. Then the bolt vanished.
Tuxedo Kamen screamed in horror as he caught Sailor Moon s limp body in his arms,
USAKO! NO!
QUEEN SERENITY! The other senshi echoed in painful agony, as they watched their
Queen being drained out of her soul helplessly.
Vil s eyes glowed with evil pleasure as he held Serenity s soul in the palm of his, This is
the purest soul I ve ever seen.
Give that back! Uranus screamed engagingly, everyone was sobbing in grief.
I believe that is the stupidest statement I ve ever had the pleasure of hearing in my life.
Eve, recovering from her wounds, stood beside Vil and laughed cruelly.
Serenity, soulless, limped lifelessly into Tuxedo Kamen s arms. Her eyes were completely
blank, all her animated life energy gone. If she wasn t dead, she wasn t far from it.
Vil, standing above them all in mid-air, smiled evilly. Hunger shone clearly on his face.
He held Serenity s soul up close to his lips, and opened his mouth. Before the senshi and Tuxedo
Kamen realized what he was about to do, he had consumed Serenity s soul whole.
The senshi watched the whole scene in absolute torment. Tuxedo Kamen watched his
wife s soul disappear. His body started to shake from anger and intense anguish. He shook his
head in denial, refusing to believe what he had just seen with his own eyes. But it had happened.
Serenity s soul was lost. And it was all because of him.
Usako! He screamed in agony. No! It can t be! Usako!
The three Outer senshi looked at each other and nodded. They quickly formed a circle
around Tuxedo Kamen, who was still clutching Sailor Moon s motionless body to him. They held
each other s hands, ignoring Tuxedo Kamen s endless, heartbreaking sobs.
Sailor Teleport!
And in an instant, they had teleported Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Moon s body along with
themselves back to the Crystal Palace.

Back
