Before Nadesico is launch to save the people on planet Mars, the United Earth Army were ordered to choose the crew for the ship. It is very strange though, they choose all the crew range from entertainment industry to robot mechanical industry. Akito, the main character, accidentally appear to be an aesvitalis pilots, were ordered to fight with the scarabs, Jupiterian robots. He has no past memory that he is once an aesvitalis pilots, he somehow gain control over the aesvitalis robot. He win the fight and he was offered to be Nadesico Aesvitalis Pilot. But he refused and end up to be a cook. That is the start of his journey through the space.

T H E R U I N S

The ruins located at planet Mars seem to be the cause of the wars between the Earth and the Jupiterian. In this ruins, there is a relic situated at the center. This ruins is protected by hundreds of shields generator. Even the secret weapon, The Death Blast of Nadesico can't do any harm. The relic seem has an amazing power that can travel through times and destinations. It is believed that people who born on planet Mars can use the power of this relic. Akito, the captain and the little girl are the evidence that they have survive through this relic. The relic remains there until Nadesico travel through the shields and uses the power of the relic for peace.
