  • Ikari Shinji: Stuck on a dead world with a hurt/dying Asuka.
  • Sohryu Asuka Langley: Hurt/dying and stuck with Shinji. She does a nice thing for Shinji in the end, so perhaps she's changed.
  • Ayanami Rei: Bonded with Lilith, but may have separated after Lilith fell apart. Shinji sees her at the end on the water, but she dissapears.
  • Katsugari Misato: Shot by some soldiers and blown up. She and probably everyone else other than the above three are existing in an incorporeal, dreamlike form.
  • Akagi Ritsuko: Shot by Gendo.
  • Ibuki Maya: Hugged by Ritsuko or a Rei disguised as Ritsuko. She explodes into LCL.
  • Ikari Gendo: Eaten by an image of Eva 01? Of course the real Eva is in the sky.
  • Makoto (Glasses): At first scared by Rei in a stalking position, but when she leaps on him she becomes Misato and kisses him. Explodes into LCL.
  • Shigeru (Long hair): Smacked in the back by Rei, explodes into, say it with me now... "LCL!"
  • Keel (Chairman of SEELE): Melts into LCL, revealing cybernetic implants.
  • Everyone else: Turns into LCL.
