Rainbow brite: The heroine, always generous and friendly, but also clever and tricky when confronted with those who would threaten color in the world.

Twink: A white sprite with rainbow arms and legs. He's the overworked boss of the sprites. He's the only sprite that I can understand.

Red Butler: Proud young color kid. One of two boys. His voice actor also does Patty. :-)

Romeo: Red sprite

Moon Glow: Colors the night sky. Turns invisible!

Night Brite: Night blue sprite.

Tickled Pink: Girl w/ Pink Hair in Pony Tails. Someone told me she was like RB for some reason.

La La Orange: Is a flirt, she has the hots for Red Buttler, French, she's loud and likes food.

OJ: Orange sprite, and ex football players on holidays.

Canary Yellow: Canary Yellow is shy and likes to dance when no one is looking. She likes to make everyone cheerful. She is easily confused. Murky and Lurky usually get her in trouble the most.

Spark: Yellow sprite.

Patty O'Green: A popular girl on the internet, she has her own site somewhere on the RB webring.

Lucky: Green sprite. Of course his/her? name is Lucky.

Buddy Blue: The other guy, I like him better. Less hubris. Voice actor also does Lurky. "buddy is a sports guy, he likes patty."

Champ: Blue Sprite.

Indigo: She's the only color kid of color, ironic?

Hammy: Indigo? Sprite.

Shy Violet: The intellectual of the group. Her analysis of situations help out Rainbow Brite a lot.

IQ: Violet Sprite.

Brian: Only human on Earth who can see Rainbow. The show seemed to be about him discovering Rainbowland, at first, but then shifted to just Rainbow Brite's adventures

Stormy: Rainbow's opponent in the sky. She likes bad weather and is the one who causes it. Rainbow Brite is the one who cleans up after her. It's a balance, they really are friends.

Orin: The ancient one of legend. Movie character.

Krys: Space knight? Meet him in the movie and see him in the last episodes.

Starlite: Egotistical creature, but can usually prove himself worthy of his confidence. Rainbow Brite's horse.

Sky Dancer: Stormy's horse. Doesn't talk, but he/she breathes hail and causes rain to fall when he/she runs. Wonderful.

Onyx: Orin's horse. He talks, but he's a robot. He's easily broken.

Sun Riser: Horse of a Different color. She's pink, hangs around in the mountain, and although usually a loner, appears to have a crush on Starlite.

Lurky: He looks like a big sprite that grew too much hair, a big nose, and turned brown. He's a bad guy, but he's likeable

Murky Dismal: Wants to destroy color. He's around more often than the Rainbow kids

Princess: She likes Diamonds. She appears in the movie.

Count Blogg: The Princess' servant.
