SUMMARY/RECOMMENDATION

I borrowed Dragoon last week. I was disappointed. It's exactly like an RPG, which is what makes it boring. I mean, it has the potential to be really great, all the potentials of having a good RPG story is there. The animation is beautiful, action scenes are usually one-hit-and-the-fight-ends type, but overall, the art is pleasing to the eye. But the characters seem pretty bland, and not much happens... It's a tv series I think, so hopefully it picks up later... Oh yeah, another thing that I had to pick about was the excessive nudity. 

CHARACTERS You have your blue haired swordsman of a hero, the beautiful, mysterious girl with magic powers, a healer, another fighter, a wizardress, and a rouge.
OPENING AND ENDINGS

Kinda boring, although it's kinda nice how it appears as if the ending is drawn specific for every episode.

    TRIVIA For the Final Fantasy fans, you should probably know that Kain in FF 4 is not a dragoon, he is a Ryuu******? which translates to dragon knight, just like his dad before him. From how dragoons are used in stories and myths, I think a dragoon is actually supposed to be a dragon like creature, but not necessarily a dragon...
