Street Fighter is one of the best games that I have ever played. It's just fun and uncomplicated. The characters are well known and interesting.
A thrilling martial arts adventure starring young Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, and other favorites. The main plot is about Ryu and Ken's search for worthy opponents in battle, but along their journey they meet drug lords with their mysterious leader.
I think that it's pretty cool, but it gets slow sometimes and a lot scenes are repeated.
How I saw it: Cantonese/Japanese VCD from Chinatown and borrowed from a videostore. Plus Manga.com is sub/dubbing it.
Seen: I've seen everything up to the second to last tape. My local video store is missing the volume that I need but amazingly enough, they have the last tape. Aren't they organized?
Recommended songs: The beginning and ending themes for the first season
are great. A guy sings it in the second season :-P
Plot This story takes place during the time of the SNES Street Fighter 2 games. Bison is a big drug lord and everyone is trying to beat him up while while he goes around collecting Street Fighters for his army. The main character is Ryu, of course, and he just kinda wanders around, but he's a cool character though. The animation and fighting scenes are excellent!
Music The music for this movie is excellent! It's composed by the famous Japanese composer Tetsuyo Komuro (T. Komuro). The woman who sings it is like a Namie Amuro sound alike. Americans who have seen the dub are missing out.
Ever since I began playing Street Fighter 2, I've always been attracted to three character, Ryu, Ken, and Chun Li. I like Ryu because of his tough personality and overall fighting style, but Chun Li is fun. Her speed makes her the best choice for beginners and her moves are simple. Plus she's fun to look at (Hey, I'm a guy).
