A band of women form the special Attacked Mystification Police force. Their job is to fight the demonic Lucifer Hawk in modern Tokyo of 2023.

I saw the first movie, but wasn't very impressed. I greatly recommend the TV series, however, because the character designs are better, better art, and what appears to be a more complete story. I also heard the TV series follows the original manga story more closely too. The best aspects is the beautiful art, mixed with CG, and the fitting gothic music that sets the mode. 

I think that the backgrounds of the characters would be spoilers, so I'll list the members with minimal info.

• Katsumi Liqueur is the main character. She is the Key.
• Rally Cheyenne. Head of AMP
• Isozaki Mana. Vice commander of AMP.
• Lebia Maverick.
• Saiko Yuki.
• Kiddy Phenil. She's a fighter.
• Yamigumo Nami.
• Robert Device. Stupid guy with an idiot name. Call him "Roy".

I think that the opening to the TV series is one of the best that I have seen.

Creator Kia Asamiya also created Nadesico and Steam Detectives. Merchandise Again, don't have info on that.
