8/6 - Tokyo
My first day in Japan and my firs day by my self outside Europe.
I had some problem to find the youth hostel where I had booked a bed for me,
but when I come there they said that they didn´t have my name in the list and
all the rooms was occupied. So I spend the night on a Economy Hotel instead.

9/6 - Tokyo - Nagoya - Kyoto
The firs thing I did this morning was to go to the Tourist Information Center in
Tokyo and they helped me to book a bed in Kyoto in a Guesthouse called Toji-an.
Some hour later did I leave Tokyo and went by Shinkansen to Nagoya to meet
my penpal Ayumi. She and her friend showed me some of the city and Nagoya Castle.
After that I had been in the castle took I the shinkansen to Kyoto and put my
things in my room in Tojo-an. Took some time later a little walk in the city.

10/6 - Kyoto
I took the lokal train this morning from the big trainstation to the Nijo-station
and walked from there to Nijo Castle. I walked later to the Imperial Park and
to the Imperial Palace. I really liked the Imperial Garden.
When I come back to the trainstation did I take a look from the Kyoto tower.
But you can take the ecalator in the train station to the highest floor and still
have a good view, for free.

11/6 - Kyoto
I took it easy this day! Me and a guy from Toji-an (Matt) went by bus
to a bookstore, after that did we eat a lunch in a resaurant near Gion,
close to the Kamo river.

12/6 - Kyoto
This day visit I and an other guy from Toji-an (Jon) the Kiyomizu Temple.
This was also my first time when I was "interviewed" by schoolkids.
When we walked from the temple did we see two Geisha´s. We took
the bus back to the train station and from there the subway to
Kyoto Botanical Garden.

13/6 - Kyoto
Went this day on the "Path of philosophy ", but first did I take the bus to
the Heian Jingu Shrine and took a walk in the beautiful garden that is there.
In the end of this day did I some shopping in the Handicraft Center and
took a look in a Martial art store that was in the near.

14/6 - Kyoto
Did some more shopping this morning and after that took I the local train to
the Saga Station and from there went I to the Tenryuji Temple and took a
walk in the nice garden. After that went a to the Higashi Honganji Temple.

15/6 - Nara
Went by train to Nara this day and took a walk to the Five-Storied Padoga
and to the Todaiji Temple, to see the Daibutsu, 16,2m (53,1 ft.) high bronze
statue of Buddha. The main edifice which houses the Daibutsu is the world´s
largest wodden structure. After this went I to the Wakakusa hill.

16/6 - Osaka
Went by shinkansken to Osaka, this day and took the local train to
Osaka Castle. And after that took I a walk in the city and to 'Den-Den',
Den-Den is a place where you can buy cheap electonic stuff.

17/6 - Kyoto
I went up early this day and took the bus to the Kinkakuji Temple
(Golden Pavylon) and went sooner to the Ryoanji Temlpe, to look
on the Rock Garden. After that went I to the Ninnaji Temple.

18/6 - Kyoto
Rain all day long! So I took it easy and did some more shopping on
the Handicraft Center.

19/6 - Kyoto
Me and Dana, a girl from Toji-an, went by bus this day to
National Museum of modren art. I took it easy the rest of
the day because it was rainy this day too. But on the night
went I, Dana and Julian to a pub (Pig and Whistle) and after
that went we to a disco called 'Bar isn't it'.

20/6 - Kyoto
Went only today to the Sanjusangendo Temple , in this temple can
you see the 1001 Kannon statues.

21/6 - Kyoto
I took a walk on the city today and prepared my trip to Hiroshima.

22/6 - Hiroshima
This morning went I to Hiroshima with shinkansen and took the lockal bus
to the youth hostel. And after that went I back too the city to see the city,
peace museum and the peace park. Later went I to the Hiroshima Castle.

23/6 - Hiroshima
Me and Gustafo, a guy from the youth hostel, went by train and ferry to the
Miyajima island to see the beautiful nature and to see the Itsukushima Shrine
and the O-Torii. You can also see a picture of the senjokaku shrine and the
five-storied padoga.

24/6 - Takayama
Traveld first with the shinkansen to Nagoya and from there with some
other train to Takayama and after that, bus to Takayama Youth Hostel.
Later took me and two American guy´s a walk in the Takayama city.

25/6 - Takayama
Me and the two american guy´s went to the morning market this morning.
After that went I by myself to Hida Folk Village.

26/6 - Toyama
I took a day trip from Takayama to Toyama this day and later went I by
the local train to the town Iwasehama that is very close to the sea.

27/6 - 7/7 - Tokyo
Went from Takayama to Tokyo and put my things in my room in the Hotel
(Economy Hotel New Koyo), and went later by Yamanote line to Ginza.
I can recomend to go to the Sony building, if you like to see new electronic things.

I can recomend to buy a Japan Rail Pass if you will travel around in Japan with train.
It is very simpel to travel by train in Japan and it is fast and comfortably.
