Tonami's sitting on the fence contemplating Sakura's word. 'Sakura : I
don't like being restricted. If you don't understand, fine.' Then Sakura
sees hime and climb up the fence and stands on it.(in her uniform I might
add... I know she lacks something called "modesty," but...) Tonami is a
bit frustrated at Sakura being so indifferent to what she said before. Then
he says, "I can't keep up with you..." Tonami leaves. In his minds
thousands of thoughts flow by.
'She never follows me. She will choose freedom even if it means being
alone. She is like that. We do love each other but... I thought if she
acknowledges me that will be enough. I thought then my unhappy past will be
finally rewarded. But no, it wasn't. Nobody can catch Sakura's wind-like
heart. I always have to chase her. Not being fulfilled, forever. That's
impossible. I don't have any spare power left. Even now I am barely
keeping myself up. Now is time to stop. Being captive in the moment of the
childhood. Sakura acknowledged me. Isn't that enough? I can't be with her
but I love her. I really love her freedom.'
Now he is walking alone in the school garden. Arima, Asaba, and Yukino show
up. Yukino invites him to the lunch with them, despite his horror. But
Arima cooly tells him, "why not?" Happy Tonami accepts eagerly.
Tonami is still heart-broken though. Yukino, being herself as always, chats
endlessly. Annoyed Tonami yells at her to stop. But Yukino's response
is...
Yukino : "WHAT? HOW CAN YOU TALK LIKE THAT? I just brought you here
because you just transferred, but if you don't want to, be that way. If
it's noisy then YOU go away!"
Tonami : 'How cruel. Why she, Arima?'
Then Yukino asks Arima about the morning, and explains to Asaba how Arima
stayed at her house because of the storm.
Asaba : "D, dirty! You slept out of you home? Arima, since when are you so
scandalized? That's not my Arima!"
Yukino : "Heh, it's because YOU stay over at his house way too many time."
(yep, Arima learned it from you, Asaba)
Then Arima remembers the morning. How he had to wear that notorious "Love
my daughter" t-shirt because his clothes weren't dried. How her entire
family warmly treated him till he left. How embarassing it was to wear THAT
shirt in the subway... By now he is blushing. Arima then realizes that
everyone is looking at him.
Asaba : "Um, I am sorry. It's your PRIVATE matter, after all..."
Tonami : "I, I didn't hear anyting."
They turn away, and Arima realizes their misunderstanding, and panics.
While he frantically explains, Yukino is in total confusion...
Watching this, suddenly Tonami sees something special about Yukino now.
'No matter how painful you are, she makes you laugh. I see now. When
everyone thinks of Arima as a special one, only Yukino sees him as just a
boy of her equal. They are both equally smart, so they can lean on or help
each other without worry. I don't know why, but Arima everyone sees is just
what he had created over long time, and his real emotion is being held down
deep inside. But Yukino takes away the "perfection" away from Arima. From
the start, Yukino was in love with that Arima hidden deep inside of that
"perfection." ONLY YUKINO DID. That's why she is so "important." That's
why she is so "special." That's why...'
Tonami : "I hope you will be always so happy."
Arima, Yukino : "?!"
Tonami : 'Even though I couldn't.'
Now is the day before the festival. Everyone is so nervous. Asaba even
goes home early to keep his skin clean. -.-;; Everyone is eager to finally
see the fruit of their labor(except Maho, who is quiet due to her
nervousness.). Yukino looks back at past few days, and can't help feel
somewhat disappointing to see those days to end...
Next day, the festival starts, and people gather. Miyazawas(Yukino's
family) comes too, very excited.
Kano : "Look, look! 1F class is going to show Asaba Dinner Show~."
Tsukino : "I wanna go see~."
Hiroyaki(dad) : "DON'T WE ALL! o_O++"
Then Asaba appears, shining. Tsukino, Kano, even PeroPero(the dog) runs
towards him, despite Hiroyaki's horror.
Asaba : "You came to see my stage, too."
Hiroyaki : "WE DIDN'T COME HERE TO SEE YOU!"
Asaba : "Your family is same as my family."
Hiroyaki : "NO IT'S NOT!"
Asaba : "I'll give you free tickets."
Hiroyaki : "DON'T WANT'EM!"
Kazma and his band is here, too. Kazma is here to see Tsuba, and rest is,
well, to crash the party. They see the school band performing, and decide
to "teach them a lesson about real Rock." They runs into the concert and
take over. Kazma, without even realizing himself, is now singing with them,
much to his own discomfort. Everyone starts to wonder toward the concert
now, and someone yells. "It's YingYang-!!!" Apparently their band is
rather very popular underground rock group. Soon, the entire school empties
out to see one of their favorite rock group perform.
