On a Pegasus' Wings

Helios, where have you gone?

Where have the winds of dreams taken you?

No longer can I hear your voice.

Once, when I was younger

You were there,

And I was not alone.

Once, years ago,

I was given hope, by you,

Believing that one day, I would see you again.

And you would be my prince.

Today, I am a child,

No longer,

Though my wishes may be so,

But I am a woman, who has searched the world,

For you.

(Dreams of the past, do not fail me now.)

If I do not have the dreams of a chikd,

Can you find me no longer?

No matter what my dreams may be,

My love for you has never faltered.

A tear falls, and then another,

Gentle spring rain,

Falling from my hear.

And then, I hear a soft nicker,

A neight,

And I look over the balcony...

And you are there!

"Lady," you say, "My dreams are yours - shared for an infinity."

My eyes glisten, and tears fall.

Your face... so much like I remember it. I step down, and you take my hand.

"Would you come with me this day?"
