The Run: 2001 New Year’s Eve
This
Run tried very hard to emulate Emmy’s birthday run. Only it was incredibly more
shitty and slippery, no doubt as a result of the year’s end rains, finally
having arrived just in time.
The
run also cleverly avoided the almost straight run in from the football field
but veered sharply left from there and rounded the Kuburan in a long long loop.
Another
feature was Yoshi actually coming in in daylight (pls note that the run did
start at 4 pm).
In
view of an excess of runs having started from the Scout Camp lately actually a
very good effort, appreciated by all except our stand in Hash Master Elephant
Man.
His
mind was made up that it was the most unpleasant, shitty run in a long
time…………..
Apart
from that he had no clue what to do, so Magic Dragon informed him, that he
could do anything, his powers being enormous.
So
On In the hares to receive the pre-conceived verdict by our stand in HM
(Hashit, no less!).
As
the run discussion wore on it became clear that as an emergency run it was not
all that bad, in fact it was quite good.
So
finally as the hares had miserably failed to make the run less slippery and
also less smelly it was declared a Shit of a Run, very fitting.
The
below note is from the Lebaran Run, so Yoshi must have read that as he did turn
up on this run!
(Food
for Thought: Why is it that every time Belinda Linda comes on the man’s Hash,
Yoshi does not turn on, oops…. up.)
The Circle
With Hares slapping their legs and wrists on account of the attacking Mossies finally the circle got underway, giving some cold DD’s to about 6 returners or so.
Good Singing: Yogi Bear with belinda Linda feasting on Camembert and Cucumbers especially.
Good RAing: Jungle Fucker or we are 6 weeks too early as Chinese New Year is only on 12 February. Short and Brilliant. Also a doggy in a soapbox did not escape the RA’s rather or razor sharp mind.
TARZANing (O Tone): Brother Marius give from Hannover and under the country the Mosquitoes no good and then GoBlokM and Herpes………(trails off)
RAing: Found a strange red poofter Father X-mas coat. But rather disappointingly it was only Herpes’ as he has turned 60!
Singing: Linda likes her whisky; various hashers liked all sorts of beverages. Special mention to KK for his grammatically absolute perfect and correct rendition of the Story of Linda and Yoshi in Serbo-Croat.
More Singing: Hares Song in view of the Hash Party later was a rather powerful Low Swinging Chariot. Good One.
N ew Years Eve OnOnOn at Chez Gardiner’s where a good time was had by all.
