Serena's Moonkingdom Five-Year Anniversery
+ Oh my, has it been five years already?! Well it
has and this site has come a loooonnnnnnggggg
way. Serena's Moonkingdom first started on
November 2nd, 1997 as an ugly stroll page... you
remember those, huh kids? Serena's Moonkingdom
was a member of alot of big banner clubs (this
was back waaaaayyyy before those kawaii clique
text links) SM joined very graphical webrings
that made since, and, just like every other
Sailor Moon site.. SM adopted over 26 different
anime pets and placed them on that very long
stroll page. Yep, we where up and running back
when splash pages where non-existant, there was
no such thing as iframes, and automatic image
stroll buttons was a thing of fantasy.
Back then, Sailormoon sites, such as mine, where
a closely knit group of fans who brought
Sailormoon on the internet to the waiting
audiance (or lack there of). In 1997.... nobody
knew about the internet too much... so there was
not many people surfing the net....
I started with HTML back in 1996, a year before I
came up with this site. Having nothing to do in
the local public library, I desided to glance at
the computer section. There was no more than 16
computer books within a library that carried more
than 95,000 volumes of books. I read one of those
Computing For Dummies Books and I was hooked. At
that moment I wanted to know everything there was
to know about computers. I checked out all 16
books and headed home. I read every book and
among those books there was several books on HTML
programming. I loved the HTML books so I took
them to school... children seen them on my desk
and thought I was a genius, others thought I was
weird, and others was like... what the hell is a
"<body>" tag *something so simple
to us webmasters seems so foreign to others*. A
few months later my very kewl aunt purchased a
Macintosh Performa it was the latest computer in
the computing industry and I loved it to death. A
few months after working on computers I was
changing channels and I happen to see a long
haired blond girl transforming into a pretty
suited sailor soldier named Sailor Moon.
I was very fasinated by the animation style and
how the storyline looked and so I got more into
it. After that it was all history. I opened up
this website, created over 32 versions of this
site over that five-year period, and I made a lot
of friends that shared the same interest as I.
Since 1997 I never left the anime internet
community and I expect this site to grow and
expand for yet another five years. I would like
to thank every single one of my fans who have
grown to love this site and all my sisters who
helped me though those very sweet years. Thank
you, and I hope that you all will keep visiting
Serena's Moonkingdom.This
layout: This is a layout made with a fanart of
Usagi holding an American Flag. The SD Usagi
*pictured on the splash page* was also a fanart
made by me, Bunny-sama. The above picture
demonstrates Usagi holding up five fingers which
represents the five years that Serena's
Moonkingdom has been online, her other hand is
holding a flag which shows pride.. I am glad to
be an American. Kewl Huh?!? *note: Bunny spelled
cool like that for the last five years*

Please do not take any of the images off of this
page (that includes the SD Usagi on the splash
page and the Usagi on the main pages). Bunny
worked very hard to color the images on a
computer and make it into a layout. Thank You!
Hee-hee, after looking deep into the
"X-FILES" of my Geocities directory,
Bunny found these, old linkers and banners i made
for this site way back in 1997... damn, these
things gotta be a hundred years old or something!
Man I sucked at PaintShop Pro back then. *grins*
Click on the links to take a look, you may see
them but please don't use them to link my site
*sweatdrops* they are soooo
uuuuggggaaaallllyyyyy!!! *blah*
