Joe Higashi, a loyal friend of the Bogard brothers. He was a sparring partner of Andy's back in Japan, and years later almost fought his brother, Terry. They became fast friends and he later helped them to avenge the murder of the Bogard's father, martial artist Jeff Bogard. He is cocky and it shows! He is usually the comic relief and does that part well, along with being a great fighter. He is the international Kickboxing champion.
