Chapter 3
Serena turned around. It was Kunzite. She thought. She came up to him. "Hello, Kunzite." She said polietly. Kunzitie Edwars, a man he did not foget this past three years, and she wished that she had. Kunzitie smiled. "You still look beautiful as ever, Serena." He said. "I want you to meet someone, Serena, this is Mina, Mina, this is Serena." He introduced her to a blond girl. She wore a light blue dress. A red ribbion on her hair....and she was pregnat.
"Mina's my wife." He said proudly. Serena felt her heart break. She didn't know why. She felt tears come to her eyes. "It's been nice to see you again. I feel kinda ill, please excuse me." Serena then turned around and ran back to her room. Mina and Kunzitie looked at each other. "Did I say something wrong?" Kunzite asked his wife. "Huh? What? Sorry, but I wasn't paying much attention. Do you think you can get me a drink?" Mina said. Kunzite smiled, ever since she became pregnate, her mind was on venus 24/7. He went to retrive Mina her drink.
Serena ran to her room. She layed her self on her bed and started to sob. She finally knew that she had loved Kunzite. It hurt her to see him with another woman. "But's it's too late!" She cried. "Too late!" Memories flooded back into her mind. She remebered the first time she meet. A bunch of guys were trying to attack her. Kunzite came and saved her. He had a scar on his arm because of her. Her first kiss was him. One day, they were dancing in a Christmas ball, and they stood under a mistol. She remebered how he would cheer her up when she was sad. Gosh, how she missed him. Tears feel down her cheeks faster. All because of her stupidity. If she stayed, instead of running away, she wouldn't have felt this pain and sorrow like she is now.
A knock came from the door. "Serena, can I come in?" Her grandmother asked. Serena didn't reply. Her grandmother entered the room. "Child why are you crying?" She asked. as she sat on the bed. Serena burst into tears.
"I finally found out that I love Kunzite, but it's to late!" She cried out. Her grandmother embraced her. "Poor child. I knew this would happen." She tried to comfert her. Serena told her everything. "If only I didn't run away." Serena cried.
"You can't change the past Serena. You can only change your future." Her grandmother said. "Serena, you'll find your someone in the future. You two weren't meant to be." She said. Serena wipped her tears away. "Think so?"
"I know so." Serena let out a little smile.

Serena couldn't stand it. Everything about her house reminded her of him. The stables. The dinning room. She could stand it. She went to her phone and called up the only person she could think of. Haruka. She was a great person. She could always tell her anything.
"Hello." A person said in the other line.
"May I please speak to Haruka?" She asked.
"Can I asked who is calling?" The person asked.
"Serena. Oh, tell her it's Rena." She said. When they were small, Haruka gave her that nickname.
"Okay." She heared her yell out. "Haruka, phone. Someone name Rena." She heared her cousin yell out, "Okay!"
"Hi, Rena?" Haruka's voice said.
"Haruka? I wanted to talk to you." She spilled out all of her problems. Haruka listened to her.
"Hmm, if you want, why don't you come to the states and live with me?" Haruka asked.
"I don't know..." Serena said.
"Come on, I missed you Serena. And I would like you to meet Michiru."
"Who's Michiru?" Serena asked ceriously.
"My girlfriend. She is a really nice person. ::whispers:: Sometimes crabby though." Haruka said. She heard a voice yell out. "Haruka I heard that, so you think I'm crabby huh?" Serena giggled.
"Umm think about what I said. I gotta go befor Michiru kills me. Bye Rena."
"Bye Haruka." Serena hung up the phone. The states huh? Not a bad idea, Serena thought. But knowing her dad...she knew excatly what her would say, 'Serena! No way are you going the the United States! You just spent three years in France! I forbid you to go!' Serena sighed, it might be worth a chance, her father could have changed during the years that she was gone.

"Serena! No way are you going the the United States! You just spent three years in France! I forbid you to go!" Serena father yelled at her. She winced. She was wrong about him changing. "But father..." She started.
"Don't 'but father' me young lady!" He yelled. She had enough of this. "I'm not a young lady, I am an adult. I am 22 years-old, and still have to get your apporvel before I leave the house. I have had it. I don't care if you fobid me to go. I am going!" With that, Serena slammed the office door with a big bang.
Serena headed to her room. She started to cry. Why couldn't her father be supported? Well, when did her opinion mattered about anything anyways? She picked up the phone.
"Hello, Untited Airlines, how can I help you?" A person asked.
"Hi, when is your next flight to Boston?" She asked.
"Tonight at 9:00." She replied. Serena looked at the clock, it was 12:00 now, so the plane should be leaving in 9 hours...
"Can I order a ticket?" She asked.

A knock came from the office door. "I knew she would be back." Mr. Tsukino mermered. "Come in." He said loudly. Serene Tsukino came in. "Hello mother, I thought you were Serena." He said. Serene made a tsking sound, as she walked to him.
"James, why don't you let Serena decide what she can do and can not do." Serene said. She looked up at him. "Well?"
"Well, she doesn't know what is out in that big world!" James exclaimed. "I wonder why? Maybe cause you trap her in this protected shell away from the rest of the world. God James, she is 22. She should be able to have a life of her own!" Serene replied.
"She does!" He answered. "Well, at least she should be able to control it, instead of you. I heard you call Selene almost everyday to check on her. I'm kinda suprized that you didn't have someone to follow her and take pictures on what she did the past three years."
James was silent. He didn't do that to his little girl, did he? "Think about what I said." Serene said, then left the room. After all these years of thinking that he was a good parent, it turned out that he wasn't, what was he going to tell his wife? He started to sob lightly.

Serena went out of her room. Two suitcases in her arm. She headed to the door, when she heard a person yell out. She turned.
"You aren't going to forget to say good-bye to your granny are you?" Serene asked, her eyes lit up. "Ohh corse not grandmother!" Serena put down her lugage and gave her a big hug. "Tell my father good-bye for me." She whispered into her grandmother's ear. Serene nodded her head. Serena picked up her suitcase and started tohead back to the door.
"Serena Tsukino, hold it right there!" A loud voice yelled. Serena froze. It was her father. She turned her head to see her father. On his face was a sturn look.
"Father like I told you before, I am going to go, and that's that." Serena said boldly. Serena shook at the thought.
His face soften. "I know honey. Can't a father say good-bye to his daughter first?" He said softly. Serena's hearted leaped. Her father was letting her go! Ohh this was a twist. She gave him a big hug.
"Nephrite, you think you can give Serena a lift to the airport?" James asked. Nephrite came out from the kitchen, red face. He was ease dropping. "Yes, Mr. Tsukino." Nephrite took Serena's bags and headed out the door. Serena headed after him. "Bye." She waved.
"Call me when you get there, call me when you need anything!" Mr Tsukino exclaimed. "Yes daddy." Serena's faint voice called out.
