Dear Tux,
This story is not part of the Star princess. I'ts called "The
Sighful Scout" Tell me when its up.

Serena sat up in bed with a fright. Something had given her the
urge to wake up quickly. "So you’re awake. Finally." Someone said
to her side. She turned to see someone with long black hair behind
her back. It was longer than Rei’s, with a braid on either side of
her head, longer than her normal hair. She wore a black and white
scout suite and a strip of silver running down the right side of her
hair. She raised her gloved hands and crosses her arms. "You know,
for the Princess, you sure are dumb." She stated after a moment.
"Wha...!" She whined. She stepped off the bed and stood, the other
girl rising with her. The other girl shrugged. "Don’t worry, I’m
not here to fight you. I simply said that I think you’re making the
wrong decision." Serena stared blankly at her. She also stared at
the long staff hanging behind her back. "Who are you? Are you a
scout?" She asked after the other girl was silent. The other girl
didn’t answer and she noticed that the other’s eyes were purple and
blue. "Not by your definition. I don’t fight for good or evil.
But, if you’re asking if I represent my world, yes I am. Nice ta’
meet cha’." She melencholily. Serena nodded. "What Sailor are
you?" She asked. The other girl frowned. "None of you’re
buisness, Moon brat. But call me Heart if you need to. Black
Heart. Anyway I came here to ask you something. Your Tuxedo Mask
dumped you, didn’t he?" She asked curiously. Her glassy eyes
became cold and hard. Serena looked away and nodded. A gloved hand
fell upon her shoulder. "It’s okay. He was a jerk doing such a
thing. Maybe he does like Reenie more than you." She said slowly.
Serena turned around to stare at the pale face. "It hurt me, yes.
I still don’t understand why though." She was on the verge of
crying. The purple and blue eyes softened. "Who can say? He might
have his reasons, but then again, he might not. He might just not
feel the same way anymore." Her soft, sad voice said. Serena shook
her head in dismay and thought that the eyes became sympathetic.
"Well, let’s move on from the past. I wonder why you still swoon
over him when you know he answers you harshly. Have you ever tried
ignoring him?" Serena stopped and looked at the strange girl in her
room. "N....no. I never thought of that." Heart nodded. "Try it
and watch the results." Her hand reached out and held her hand and
a power filled Serena’s senses. "Ignore him when he saves you,
don’t lean on him anymore." She said in a hyptnotizing voice.
Serena’s eyes glowed a brilliant blue. "Not care about Derien...."
She mumbled. Heart waved a hand in front of the face and there was
no response from Serena. "Wake up!" She snapped, clicking her
fingers. "Huh?" Serena said. "You got carried away with what I
said." Heart replied. "Oh, I did?" Serena said rather hesitantly.
Heart looked outside her window. "I have to go now. If you ever
need a friend, press this." She handed her a black and white wand
with a heart button on it. With a wink, she disappeared.
              *******************
Heart appeared outside and looked in at the window. Countess
appeared beside her, hidden in her black cloak and dress. "Why did
you do that, Sailor brat?" She hissed. Heart crossed her arms.
"Oh, go away, Nega-witch. I have no buisness with you or the
scouts." She said softly. "You’d better hope they defeat Marnax,
Scout sympathiser." Heart looked crossly at her. "I have no deal
in that, Countess. They do what they do." She said in her same sad
voice. The Countess grunted and left. Marnax appeared beside her,
his great were-wolf-like bulk drooling and panting like a dog. "Go
away, Marnax. Attack tonight if you wish, I don’t care if you
don’t." She said crossly. The wolf-man howled and bounded toward a
              street.
He snarled at the people still out at night and made a great point
of scratching and blasting energy from his great muzzle. As
expected, the scouts appeared in their uniforms and stood in a line
in front of the dog. "Hey you, Nega-creep! In the name of the
moon, I order you to stop this evil." Marnax barked at the
pigtailed girl and blasted energy at her. She and the scouts leapt
to safety. "Mars Celestial Fire Surround!" Mars said and rings
flew toward the werewolf. He disappeared before they hit him and
appeared in front of Sailor Moon. "Ugh! Slobber!" She whined. He
swung a claw at her and she was hurled back. "Venus Love Chain
Encircle!" Venus yelled and again the dog dodged the power stream.
He opened his mouth and aimed at Sailro Moon. The Energy blasted
from his muzzle and when Heart looked up, a man in a black cape
carried her. When they landed, Sailor Moon looked angrily at him.
“Why do you always do that?! I can take care of myself, thank you!
Or don’t you think I’m capable?” She spat. Tuxedo Mask stared at
her in surprise. "Moon Scepter Elimination!" Serena yelled after a
moment. The energy blast from her scepter with great intensity and
caught Marnax unaware. He disappeared in a great flash of light.
Sailor Moon began walking away from the Scouts and Derien. She
transformed back into Serena and continued to walk back to her
house. "Where are you going?" Jupiter yelled. "Home. I need to
get back to sleep." Was her short answer. They all simply stared
              at her retreating form.
After Serena got far enough, she ran past her house and farther
down to her street. She pressed the button on the wand and Heart
appeared before her. "How was I?" She asked shakily. Heart
nodded. "You were wonderful. I’m sure that Derien regrets having
breaking up with you." She bowed. "But why does it hurt?" She
asked stupidly. "I think you’re still holding onto the past. Let
go of it all. Pretend you never met him." She said simply. "Why
don’t you do some training? Then you won’t have to count on him no
more. I can be a sparring partner for now. I can show you a few
pointers." Serena nodded and transformed. "Moon Crystal Power!"
She landed again and Heart nodded. "A few rules first. Don’t
destroy me with your scepter and we stop before we permanently
damage each other." Serena nodded. "I’m ready." Heart raised her
              hands in a defensive position.
"Aiyaaa!" Serena yalled as she high kicked at her. Heart spun
around and created a force field around herself. Sailor Moon fell
to the ground. "First rule. Never tell your oponent you’re ready.
If it’s evil and hurting innocents, attack immediatly." Heart
nodded. Serena jumped to her feet and began aiming half hearted
punches at her, which she dodged easily. Kicking so fast Serena
couldn’t see, Heart aimed for her feet and made her fall once again
to the ground. "Next lesson. If you’re going to hesitate, don’t
fight at all. Remember, the Evil ones don’t hesitate killing
anyone." Serena pushed herself off the ground and was blown back by
an energy filled wind. She raised her arms defensivly. Heart
sighed. "You need faster reactions, Serena, or else you’re never
going to beat anyone." Flipping forward, Sailor Moon knocked Heart
off her feet before she had time to react. Heart grabbed her face
in pain. "Good." She murmured. Another, quicker foot aimed at
her, but Heart grabbed it and pushed her back. "Be creative, don’t
use the same moves all the time or else people can predict your
every move." She sighed. Serena laid on the ground a few moment
then, swung her leg around to kick her ankles. Heart fell to the
ground. Her partner laughed. "Well done. You’re learning." Heart
jumped to her feet and gathered energy between her hands. She threw
it at Serena and closed her eyes as Serena held in a scream. She
lowered her hands and sighed. "Enough for today. You have improved
in a matter of minutes and that’s wonderful." She laughed and
helped her friend up. "Thanks. I started improving when I realized
that I was unpracticed because I let the scouts almost defeat the
monsters and Tuxedo Mask...." Her eyes widened an she shivered in
despair. "You might as well cry now, Serena. Holding back your
feeling won’t help. So what if you miss him?" She said
heartlessly. Serena’s head shot up. "How did you know that? I was
thinking that but I didn’t say anything." Serena asked curiously.
Heart shrugged. "Anyway, you should practice going it alone before
you call the scouts on the comunicator. It would help your
training." She dodged. Serena only nodded. "I suppose." She
whispered. Heart turned her back upon the Princess. "Soon, you
won’t have these uncertainties and will be able to fight without the
scouts. You’ll reach a new line of Sailor Scouts and be able to
fight alone, like Sailor V. Be patient Serena."
              ***************
Tuxedo Mask watched the retreating body of Sailor Moon. "I don’t
understand what came over her. It’s not like her to say that to
you." Venus said. "I don’t understand. Her eyes became.....cold
and lost their sparkle. She suddenly became heartless." He
answered. Mars had turned away and held her arms. "I feel something
strange, not quite evil, but not pure either. The moment she turned
on him, I felt cold all over, but when she left, she was herself
again, but still hard. It’s hard to explain." Mars said sadly.
Mercury had her data computer out and was analyzing. "There’s
nothing really wrong with her. Her metabolism seems lower though
but its been that way since....." She stopped and stared away from
Derien. "Anyway, other than that, there’s nothing. There was a
spot of Nega-energy on her for a second but it disappeared as soon
as Tuxedo Mask set her down." She shut the lid. "As far as I can
tell she’s normal." The blue haired scout said. Tuxedo Mask had
looked away and still stared after his love that he had hurt.
"We’ll talk to her, Derien." Venus said to him as he left. "No, I
              will." He answered
