Serena walked down the street and passed the Crown Game Center. Stopping outside she said to herself, "I really don't want to go to the study session. At least, not now. But if I go in and play a few games, no one will notice..."
Inside, Serena saw Mina chatting with Andrew. Serena stormed in and exploded, "Since everyone else has been studying hard, I've been trying too. But you’re in here playing games!"
"I asked her to come," Andrew said quickly to defend Mina.
"Serena, youth comes only once," Mina said. "When we grow old, we will look back and say that we should have played more at the time." Mina saw a new racing game. "Hey, Serena! I challenge you to the new racing game."
"You're on!" Serena chimed back.
At first, they were fairly equal in the game, but Mina rushed ahead. Serena tried harder. Her car spun out of control and crashed.
"Try again!" Mina said triumphantly.
"We should go to Rei's house," Serena said.
"But I want to win the racing world cup," Mina protested.
A pretty, yellow-haired boy walked into the arcade. He spotted the two girls and said, "I'll race the one who won."
Mina stared at the boy. He was the cutest guy she had ever seen. "Sure," she nodded dumbly.
They started the race. Mina started out very well. Serena watched the boy and saw he didn't even start. "The game has started," Serena pointed out.
"I know, but I have to give her a handicap."
Mina heard this and replied in an annoyed voice, "I am Mina, who will win the racing world cup!"
The guy smiled and started racing. He drove very fast and easily overtook her. Mina couldn't believe it. Then he lapped her as well. The race ended with Mina far behind.
"I totally lost," Mina concluded.
The boy shook his head. "No. You're very good. Cute girls usually have good sense with games."
Mina became very happy as he said this.
A pretty girl with green hair came behind them. "Sorry for making you wait, Eric."
The two of them left together. Serena and Mina watched in disbelief. "The girl is very pretty. And the boy is so handsome," Mina drooled. "His name is Eric."
Outside the girl said to Eric, "You befriended them?"
"And you're jealous?" he asked.
"Maybe," the girl replied.
"They're like kids. And they're very cute."
Mina and Serena made their way towards Rei's house to study. Passing a coffee shop, Mina noticed the couple together. "Look there they are," she pointed out.
"They look like boyfriend and girlfriend," Serena noticed.
"He's the guy I've been looking for. He's Mr. Right," Mina said.
"He's already got a girlfriend," Serena said again.
"We don't know for sure," Mina snapped.
The girl and Eric got up and left. Serena and Mina continued following them. "They sure do look like boyfriend and girlfriend," Serena said again.
"You can go on to Rei's alone, Serena. I'm going to keep following these two," Mina said.
"Hey! I'm interested in the cool guy too," Serena complained.
The girl and Eric parted. "See, she's not his girlfriend," Mina whispered.
They followed Eric as he led them to an auto repair shop.
Professor Chronos had created another demon seed.
"I've already located the next target," Kaolinite said to him.
The Professor released the demon seed. It raced away toward an auto repair shop. There it embedded itself into a car.
Mina and Serena snuck around and into the shop. Mina said to Serena, "You can go to Rei's house now."
"I don't want to," she protested. "I want to find out more about that guy."
Eric called, "Hey, little kitty, how long are you going to hide?"
The girls came out from behind a pile of scraps. "Hi there," Serena said, embarrassed.
Eric said, "I'm Eric, a sophomore in high school. You wanted to know about me, right? What else do you want to know?"
Mina jumped in. "Who was that girl with you? Is she your girlfriend?"
"Girlfriend?" asked Eric. "Michelle?"
"Is it close?" asked Mina.
"Maybe it's more than that. But don't give up, there's even a chance for you," he replied.
Michelle walked into the repair shop. "Don't get tricked. This person always talks like that to cute girls."
Mina asked Michelle, "Are you Eric's girlfriend?"
"Answer yes or no," Serena added.
"No," answered Michelle.
"All right! I'll take his love!" Mina cheered.
"Yeah!" shouted Serena.
"Serena, you have Darien," Mina declared.
"You are being very strict today. Just like Rei," Serena complained.
Rei sneezed. Ami and Lita had come over to her house to study.
"I wonder what they're doing," Lita said wistfully, wishing she was with them.
"They're probably out chasing guys," Rei affirmed.
"I like coming to this place because Ken works here," Eric told Serena and Mina. "He works very hard so he can do work on race cars and top of the line cars."
"You want to become a race car driver," Michelle pointed out to Eric.
"That used to be my dream," he replied.
"What is it now?" Mina asked.
"To do something only I can do. For that I'll sacrifice anything."
"That's very cool," Mina said in awe.
Ken came out form under the car. "She's all finished," he said as he patted it. As Ken touched the car, it mutated into a monster.
The demon started to extract Ken's soul. Mina and Serena ran toward the demon but they slipped on a can and both tumbled to the ground. The demon finished taking Ken's soul and it turned into a car. Racing off towards Kaolinite, it disappeared with Ken's soul crystal.
Mina and Serena scrambled off the floor. Both Michelle and Eric were gone.
"Moon Cosmic Power!" Serena transformed into Sailor Moon.
"Venus Star Power!" Mina changed into Sailor Venus.
The demon sped down a waterless canal. Michelle and Erica chased after it on a motorcycle. They threw something at him to try to stop the demon. It stopped and commented, "Good thing I was wearing my helmet."
Sailor Venus and Sailor Moon caught up to them on a bicycle Venus was pedaling. "The pure soul of someone who goes after dreams," Sailor Venus gasped as she pedaled.
"We won't let the bad ones get it. For love and justice, I am the pretty soldier Sailor Moon. In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!"
The demon turned to attack Sailor Moon. A voice shouted wait, "Stop!"
Two shadowy figures stood on the top of the canal. Jumping down, Serena saw they were two Sailor Senshi.
"Invented by a new age, I'm the magnificent Sailor Uranus."
"Also invented by a new age, I am the elegant Sailor Neptune."
Sailor Moon was surprised by their appearance. And they were Sailor Senshi as well!
"Uranus Meteor Strike!" Uranus attacked the demon by throwing a blue and yellow energy ball.
"Neptune Tidalwave Submerge!" Neptune attacked by a wall of water. It didn't destroy the demon, it just immobilized it.
"Moon Heart Spiral Collision!" Sailor Moon shouted. This time, the demon was destroyed.
Sailor Uranus examined the heart crystal. "It isn't the talisman," she announced. She threw it to Sailor Moon. "Return this, will you?"
Serena excitedly told the girls about Mina’s and her adventure at Crown Game Center.
"I can't believe you skipped studying to go after guys," Rei exclaimed.
"This isn't time to be arguing," Ami said.
"Luna and Artemis are arguing," Rei defended herself. Michelle and a short yellow-haired girl walked into the arcade. Mina asked her, "Where's Eric?"
"She's with me," she replied.
The girls rushed to Michelle. "Where?!" they asked.
"Where’s the guy that supposed to look like my old boyfriend?" Lita inquired.
Michelle pointed to the girl next to her. Mina screamed!
"He's a girl?" Rei said astonished.?
"I never said I was a girl," she said. "And by the way, it's Erica, not Eric."
Serena said, "I always thought Darien was better to begin with."
