Whilst we were at the car import shop, picking up my cousins Nissan Skyline GTS-X, i snapped a few pics of what i belive is the only civic type-r in Australia, it's Brand New, 33 kilometres on the clock!! Plastic seat covers still on it. Just a litle info for those who don't know what a Type-R Civic is, it's a kind of racers special if you will, comes complete with recaro seats, momo steering wheel, titanium shift knob, fatter sway bars, big brakes and various other bits to save weight. And of course THAT engine, only displacing 1.6 litres it puts out 185 ps, which actually makes this car out of reach for probationary drivers like me, DAMN!! if only i had a spare 45k to spend, but still why would you buy this when a sooby rex is only 40k and you got money for a set of swish wheels. Rumor has it that the Type-R integras will be coming down under officially in september, i which spec remains to be seen, as like the japanese we have RHD cars, although it could just be the version which currently sells in the UK.
