Author's Note: I know by the time you get done reading this (that is if ANYONE is reading this) you are going to hate me and send fames but *shrugs* I just wanted to see what kind of songfic this would turn out to be with this song. I don't care if you send flames, flames are better than NOTHING. "INUYASHA" Kagome screams and franticly run's to the fallen (now human- it is the night of the new moon) Inuyasha, who's now splayed out on the forest floor, his blood already starting to pool around him. "Kagome....?" Inuyasha painfully whisperers so low that Kagome almost didn't hear him. "Oh my God, Inuyasha your bleeding!" Kagome puts her hand over the very large wound in Inuyasha's abdomen (the same type of wound Sesshoumaru inflicted upon him before only much larger.) unsuccessfully trying to stop the massive blood flow. Slowly Inuyasha tries to rise to his knees but does not't get two inches off the ground before he falls back down to the hard forest floor. "Kagome, I...I'm sorry but *cough* but--" Inuyasha is cut off by Kagome. "Don't talk anymore, you need to save your strength!"
//Every night in my dreams, Sango and Miroku are busy fighting off a large tiger demon that is after their Shikon no Tama shards, from time to time Sango and Miroku look over to Inuyasha and can see that there companion is out of this fight. The demon brings them back to the fight by striking out at Miroku who is standing close to Sango, the attack just barely missing either of them.
//Far across the distance, spaces between us The demon strikes out at Miroku again with it's large claws and in one quick jump Miroku evades the demons attack while Sango throws her Hiraikotsu distracting the demon for just a few seconds giving Miroku his opportunity, Miroku quickly opens his air rip and to his and everyone else's relief sucks the demon in. "Inuyasha..." Sango and Miroku say in unison and run to his side.
//Near, Far, Wherever you are, As Miroku gets closer to Inuyasha he sees the full extent of Inuyasha's injuries. 'The wound is way to deep, he won't make it till sunrise, Kagome..... I'm so sorry I... It's my fault if I could have only finished off the demon earlier maybe things would not be as they are now.' Miroku looks gravely at Inuyasha and lowers down to one knee as he starts praying.
//Once more, you open the door, "Kagome..." Inuyasha takes in a raged breath. "I..." 'I'm going to die here and now...I have to tell her before it's too late!' "I'm not going to live fo--" "Inuyasha...no you..you can't leave me!" Kagome cuts him off before he finishes- not wanting to hear her worse nightmare come true, Kagome breaks down and sobs into Inuyasha's hair and raps her arms around his upper waist. 'No he can't not now...he can't die!'
//Love can touch us one time and last for a life time, "Kagome...there's something I.. have to tell you before.......*gasp* before it's too late!" Inuyasha breathes in a small breath of air as the overwhelming pain starts to fade away and his body steadily starts to tingle and go numb.
//Love was when I loved you, "NO INUYASHA I.... you’re going to be fine just hold on..Please--" Kagome tightens her fist in his shirt as the tears pore like rivers down her face and onto Inuyasha's.
//Near, Far, Wherever you are, "Kagome...shut up for a second! I...*cough* I love you!" How much she had always wanted to hear those three words from him- for him to feel the same way about her as she did for him for so long. But she knew...she knew that this wouldn't end like some faerie tale story you read your children, Inuyasha is dieing and she knows that they won't get to have their chance to be together, to have a family, to grow old together, and to spend their last days together....
//Once more, you open the door, "Inuyasha I love you too...if you only knew how much!" Inuyasha looks at Kagome with a longing and somewhat relieved look on his face, Inuyasha smiles a sad smile and reaches his hand up to her cheek feeling her soft skin and the warm tears against his bloodied hand. Kagome brushes a few stray hairs away from his face with a sad smile on her face, she leans her head down and there lips meet in a short loving kiss before Kagome no longer feels his breath on her mouth. He's gone. "INUYASHAAAA NOOOOO" Kagome sobs over Inuyasha's now lifeless body. 'I love you Inuyasha why did you have to leave me? Why? I don't want to be alone!'
//Your here, there's nothing I fear, Miroku and Sango (with Shippo) walk away from the tragic scene with tears in there eyes at the loss of there dog-demon friend. 'They loved each other so much...' Sango gives one last sad and pained look at Kagome before Miroku puts an arm around her shoulders and whispers into her ear, "She'll be alright...just give her time to her self for now, lets go." He leads her in the direction of a small clearing not to far away where they will make camp for the night.
//We'll stay forever this way, As Kagome cries over Inuyasha's body a soft wind carrying liefs and sakura petals rises and blows around and against her like a soft loving hug, as the wind picks a little a faint/light whisper of comforting words can be heard in the small breeze. Kagome brings her teary vision eyes up to see the outline of a familiar figure, it raises what looks to be the outline of an arm and Kagome feels a soft caress to her cheek and bottom lip. As the figure starts to vanish she just barley hears a whisper on the wind. ~I'll always love you Kagome.....~ Author's Note: Yeah...I know you hate me! As you may already have guessed, I'm new to writing InuYasha fanfics and any other kind of fanfics for that matter. And I really need some help on how to keep the character's in character, and some other things, oh and please tell me what you think of this songfic, it's only my second so I know it's not very good!
