CHAPTER #01 : HI. Shohoku!

The train had finally reached Kanagawa and Sendoh seemed to have been waiting at the train station for ages.( because he fell asleep!) Then came a girl, walking towards him.

" KONNICHIWA!" she shouted into his ears. The sudden loud noise woke Sendoh up from him sleep. " Hi Akira! Hmm... u seemed to have been waiting for me for a long time huh?" she asked Sendoh.

This young girl was actually Sendoh's cousin, Kotori. Her parents had left for American for a business venture and she had decided to join them only after she finished her college education here in Japan. Having no other relatives there in Japan but Sendoh, he had to behold the responsibility of looking after her for the time being.

" Hi! I'm your new classmate, Kotori Takenouchi. from Tokyo." Kotori made her self introduction to her new classmate when she started school on Monday in SHOHOKU HIGH. Her first day in 2/6 class is fantastic. All of her classmates treated her very warmly and especially the guys.( hint: pretty girl wat! what you expect!)

On the first day of the term itself, the school basketball team had also announced to start a girls basketball team, due to the fact that the boys team did extremely well during the nationals. ( though they didn't win the champion.) Doubtlessly Kotori joined in the crowd which composed of many other girls flooding into the basketball court to sign up.

Since young, Kotori and Sendoh practiced basketball together. Thus since then, she had the love for playing basketball and whenever she's free, she would either play on her own or train with Sendoh. As her pervious school do not have a girls' basketball team, she was deprived from the privilege of playing it for the school. But now her long awaited chance came.
