Chapter 3 : It can't be RUKAWA!

Rukawa's heart nearly stopped. "What did Sendoh just said? Did he mean it?" Questions were running wild in Rukawa's mind. He felt weak being wrapped in Sendoh's arms.

After a while, Rukawa pushed Sendoh away,"How did you know I was here?" Rukawa asked softly.

"......um......, I ran out of drinks so I thought I would come out and buy,...." before Sendoh could continue, he saw Rukawa staring at him coldly, as if Rukawa had found out that he was lying. But Sendoh did not bother. He was totally absorbed looking at Rukawa's beautiful eyes.

"Alright, I could not sleep and was thinking about you all the time so I thought I might as well come to the court where we played 1 on 1 and pretend that you were here. I could not believe my eyes when I saw you playing here and I thought that my eyes were playing tricks on me," Sendoh continued, pulling Rukawa back into his arms. "I did not mean to lie to you. To everyone, except you." Sendoh started to play with Rukawa's hair and was wondering how Rukawa kept in such good condition, so soft and smooth. Rukawa smiled to himself and allowed Sendoh to continue touching his hair.

But, rain started to pour yet the couple remained happily in the rain until Sendoh said,"It's getting late. I'll send you home." Rukawa nodded his head and started walking. But Sendoh had made it till they held hands as they walked.

Outside Rukawa's house, Sendoh said,"How about going out tomorrow? I don't have any training tomorrow." "Nah, I have," Rukawa replied. Sendoh continued talking,"It's okay, I'll pick you up at your school tomorrow after your practice then we will go out, okay?" Rukawa remained silent so Sendoh took it as a 'yes'.

The following day, straight after the practice, Rukawa rushed to his locker and started to pack up. When he was half-done, Sakuragi came in and was surprised that Rukawa was already packing up. Rukawa took no notice of Sakuragi and continued packing. Then Sendoh suddenly appeared at the door of the locker-room. Sakuragi was surprised that Sendoh was there and stared at Rukawa but Rukawa turned away.

"Let's go, Rukawa." Sendoh said after Rukawa finished packing up. Rukawa gave him a glance and started walking away. "Bye, Sakuragi." Sendoh said and left.

"No bye to you two, you're gays!" Sakuragi shouted to them. Then, he felt as though there was a cut deep in his heart. "What happened?" Sakuragi asked himself, he felt as though he was jealous of Sendoh for a moment. But why jealous? He had always like Haruko, and he was not a homosexual. Yet he felt as though Rukawa had left him.

That's it! He had liked Rukawa! But it couldn't possibly be Rukawa, could it? Sakuragi nearly fainted at the thought of it!

"NO!!! Not Rukawa! How can I like him?!" Sakuragi shouted.
