Hello! Well, I'm a self proclaimed anime-fanatic. However, there are a lot of other different things in the
world out there that are worth paying attention to :þ This section is just a little compilation of things to do or look into to that
not very many people might know about. Well, I hope you find something that interests you on this page--'cause well--that's what I did this
page for! If you see something that you like, just click on the picture, and it will link you up to what it is you're looking for.
If you're into chat rooms, trivia, or just meeting some
new and interesting people then this is the place for you! Asian Avenue is an interactive
community of people that is of Asian decent. Personally, I think this place is pretty cool.
Not only do you get to interact with a wide variety of different personalities, it provides a friendly
atmosphere to those who are too shy to chat in IRC or AOL. The link to the right takes you directly to the
Community Connect homepage. There you can learn more about Asian Avenue, and join it if you think it fits you!
Jpop, or Japanese Pop music is starting to take hold on the world market. It's widespread
popularity has many die-hard fans fixated on beautiful idol singers such as Noriko Sakai. This is just a link
to one of the many sites that provide information on a wide variety of singers. If any fan of anime has ever liked any
theme song, then this might be of some interest to you. The link to the left is of only one site. Various other sites are listed, but any
search engine will be able to locate jpop locations.
The world of mini-4 wheel drive racers is fast pace and exciting. Most of the mini racing is concentrated in and around
the San Jose area in California. I personally don't know much about this particular subject, but it looked extrememly fun and
interesting. If you are a meticulous, competitive, and patient person, then this might just be your calling! The link to your right takes you directly
to a mini 4wd racing page.
I have always thought that Role Playing Games were really fun. There's a type of rpg online called MUD. It's written totally
in script, and you are armed with your reading, memory, and imagination skills. It's a test of whether or not you can survive
in a totally inhospitable enviornment. MUD's are basically programs using various types of code. Some games might be exactly alike, while others
are completely different. It doesn't matter whether or not you're into medival/fantasy games, or futuristic games--there's a MUD to suit everyone.
The link to the right is for a list of MUD's that you can choose from. Just be sure that you have either a mud-client, or a telnet program.
