Apatt's Review for December 23, 1997
Sky Senshi at the Racetrack

Well, if this isn't the best Sailor Uranus page in the
Known Universe I don't know what (sorry, I can't speak
for pages outside the Solar System). This page goes a
long away to demonstrate that a good web site is more
than just pretty graphics and java trickery. There should
always be WORDS to balance the graphics. Ruk (the site's
owner you know) appears to know more about Uranus than
even Michiru does. She understands the character inside
out and she has written some highly articulate and eloquent
articles about Sailor Uranus and Haruka. In addition to
that her page has really cool music and lay out and - yes -
good graphics. Some fools have criticized her page for "not
having enough graphics" damn philistines! People really should
learn to _read_ more, they may learn something. Hrmmf! Now
I'm ranting! Any way, I am overjoyed to award this page
the "Rei of Hope", it really is "the bee's knees" ^_-

My pal Ruk has done it again! This time with a Pluto page!
The same high standard of writing as her Sky Senshi page
mentioned above, except this time with even more stylish
graphics and layout. Look out for info, graphics, poetry etc.
bound to keep any Puu fan happy for weeks!

Now I've gone and called Psyber's Sailor Mars Shrine the "best
site" what am I going to do?? Well, I like this page just as
much! I would have awarded it earlier but I couldn't contact
the page's owner, Naomi. This page has all I want from a
Sailor Mars site, great pix, info, links, and best of all an
in depth character profile. I just lurve reading these things!
Find out about the real Rei Hino here. If you have never
seen this page, go now then come back, I'll wait for ya! ^_^

Dark Echo Grounds of Thunder Senshi

Sailor Jupiter, you gotta love her, she's tall, she's strong,
she throw thunder bolts about, she's a great cook and she got
big... uh... never mind! ^_- This is it, folks! the bestest
Sailor Jupiter home page in the universe! Jov really has an
eye for aesthetics so the colour scheme of her page is greenish
to represent Jupiter's colours but there are a lot of beautiful
fade effects and other images to make them interesting. The page
is very well thought out an you can easily fond the kind of info
you are looking for be it Makoto's love life, or Jupiter's powers.
The best BEST thing about this page is of course the writing!
Jov knows Makoto / Jupiter inside out in fact, I suspect she is
Makoto! (in which case I'm gonna ask her to bake a cake for me ^_-).
If you don't understand what makes Makoto ticks this page will
 leave you with no doubt.

Ice Senshi's Lake of Illusions

Easily the best Sailor Mercury shrine I have ever seen,
and it's not finished yet. The design, layout and graphics
is exemplary but what I really love about this site is the
writing! Here's a girl who can write from the heart and who
has a very thorough understanding of Ami's character. If you
have a shrine page which consist entirely of the dreaded "fave
food" stats and some pix thrown in your should first be
ashamed of yourself and second make a beeline for their page!
Winner of the Deep Thought Award (inspirer of it, in fact)
