Ok, you're a real Sailor Moon fan <S.D. Mars: "I don't understand why you're not my fan... Maybe if the show would have been called The Adventures of Sailor Mars you would really love me"> and you want to talk about your love for Sailor Moon with other fans, but you've only seen a little itty bit of it.... <S.D. Mars: "hmmm... what a dilema"> Do not despair! .... This guide will take you through the TV series so you'll look like a real expert on the subject ^_^...... This way you can begin with more fun stuff. <S.D. Mars: "You can talk for hours on how good I look in my little red skirt, or you could talk about how cute Rini looked as Sailor Chibi Moon, or why Sailor Uranus kicks butt harder than Sailor Jupiter and maybe you could discuss weather Tuxedo Mask is more handsome than The Moonlight Knight. The whole point here is having fun.... =) ">. Now.... on to the story. Oh.... but remember that I'm not responsible if you read more than you really want to know <S.D. Mars: "In other words if you decide to spoil yourself, It was your choice...">

The Negaverse (In Japan
"The Dark Kingdom"): Queen Beryl and her boss, the "Negaforce" ("Queen Metallia" en Japan); her generals Jedite, Neflyte, Ziosite and Malacaite ("Kunzite" in Japan); and each generals' respective servants. |
At the beginning, only human energy, but afterwards,
they began collecting the rainbow crystals. These are found inside seven
earthlings. Once removed from the owner, that person would
turn into a monster that the Sailor Scouts had to face. Once combined, the seven crystals recreate the Silver Imperial Crystal which is needed to free the Negaforce. Besides this, Queen Beryl wants the handsome Darien for herself. |
The origin of the Sailor Scouts, and the essential
relationship between Serena and Darien, which began in the Moon Kingdom,
during the end of the Silver Millennium.
Queen Serenity makes way for her daughter and the other Sailor Scouts to fight on Earth in the future. In the Japanese version, The Sailor Scouts aren't exactly captured by the Negaverse in the final encounter. (Maybe the "R" in Sailor Moon R stands for Resurrection) |
Observe closely the romantic couple that Zoicite and
Malacaite form... and yes, Zoicite is originally a man in Japan.
Then, Darien and I go out on a couple of dates
<S.D. Mars:"How exciting!">. Serena gets turned into a tennis ball and Serena's best friend, Molly, falls in love with Neflyte, one of the generals of the Negaverse. |

The aliens Alan and Ann; The Dark Moon (Negamoon
form planet Nemesis, which is a point of exile form the Silver Millennium),
consisting of Rubeus, Prisma, Avery, Birdy, Catsy, Safiro,
Esmeraude, Prince
Dimand and the Wise Man. |
In search of energy to feed the Doom Tree (Alan y Ann);
To destroy Crystal Tokyo, Neo Queen Serenity's utopic future (The
Dark Moon), because they believe that eternal live is against human nature.
Their main objective is to capture Rini, who wants to return to the past
(kind of like "the Terminator"), in order to save her mother's life in
the future. But, I suppose then, that it isn't against
human nature to try to kill little girls. |
The introduction to Rini and Sailor Pluto; The history
of the future Neo Silver Millennium Hot love connections that include lovers,
Alan and Ann, who also happen to be flirting with Serena and Darien, respectively.
And the Guilt stricken decision
that Darien takes when he breaks up with Serena. During this time, she matures a lot and learns to be worthy of being Sailor Moon. The four sisters of the Dark Moon have their share of cat-fights for Rubeus's attentions; Rini acts extremely possessive over "future dad" Darien and like a class-A brat with "future mom" Serena. |
Sailor Pluto is the voice behind Rini's Luna-P ball.
Rini's really over 900 years old when she appears for the first time! Did you know that when translating the series into English, they changed the name "Sailor Pluto" to "Sailor Plut" just because "Pluto" happens to be a registered mark by Disney... I think that's exaggerating! |

"The Death Busters",
consisting of: Professor Tomoe and his subordinates, the "Witches 5". "The Death Busters" are agents working for the alien "Pharaoh 90" |
Tomoe is searching for the Holy Grail. The powers of
the Grail in hands of the
mysterious "messiah", will give him the power to control the world. But in order to obtain it, it's necessary to take the three talismans, which can only be used by those with pure hearts. Using his daimons - which are "diamons eggs" mixed with common household things, in order to create humanoid monsters - he's searching for the talismans. Suspecting that the Sailor Scouts have the talismans, "The Death Busters" try to eliminate their pure hearts. But of course the outer scouts are the ones that end up having the talismans. |
The introduction to three new Sailor Scouts; The story
of the outer planets
during the Silver Millennium; including Sailor Saturn's tragic story. New and fascinating elements in the Sailor Moon universe, including the unexpected couple - Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus- With the help of the Holy Grail, Sailor Moon transforms into Super Sailor Moon. |
The "Pure Hearts" look like crystals with spikes, and
are extracted from
the victim's chest. Sailor Uranus is a great motorcycle racer. Lady, Sailor Neptune, plays the violin. Rini makes a great entrance as Sailor Chibi Moon with her attack "Pink Sugar Heart", which isn't very effective... ^^;;; |

The Dead Moon Circus and their leader Queen Nefrenia, The original Queen Serenity's sister (Sailor Moon's Aunt), who was vanished to the Dead Moon. The "Gold Imperial Crystal" looks for it's other half, the "Silver Imperial Crystal". | To capture the mysterious Pegasus (yup, a horse with
wings and a golden horn),
who hides in the people's beautiful dreams; They're looking for those with beautiful dreams, just like "The Death Busters" were looking for pure hearts. Afterwards, the Dead Moon's objective is to look for the "Dream Mirrors" inside different people. The Maximum objective is to obtain the "Gold Imperial Crystal" (which is hidden inside the Pegasus's horn) which will allow the Dead Moon to conquer all the dreams of the world. |
The Dead Moon Circus threatens innocent people; All the
Sailor Scouts obtain new super transformation modes, thanks to the Pegasus.
Rini, the Pegasus's host,
falls in love with him as the series goes on. It's a fact that the Pegasus was originally a human named Helios, who seeks to protect the land of dreams from the invasion of the Dead Moon. No new Sailor Scouts appear. |
With it's intense scenes that include Rini and the magical Pegasus, the series starts to obtain a similar tone to that of the original Sailor Moon Manga. |

Queen Nefrenia escapes from her exile for a short time
retaking her role from
Sailor Moon Super S; The new villain is Sailor Galaxia, who is recognizable because of her golden "gladiator suit". |
Neferenia's escape shatters her "Soul Mirror", and the
pieces fall on Earth
like rain. Those who happen to catch a piece in their eye, like unlucky Darien, are turned into Neferenia's slaves. She's eventually reverted back to a little girl. That's when Sailor Galaxia appears, sending her agents to look for the "Star Seeds". These seeds are the Sailor Scout's fountain of planetary power. Galaxia has already conquered Sailor Scouts from other parts of the universe, and is now after the Solar System in order to recreate it in her image. |
Sailor vs. Sailor in a war of the galaxies! Because all
the planets in our Solar System have proven to have a Sailor of their own,
all the additional Scouts come from other worlds. The Sailor Starlights,
with their sex mix-ups, take the place of Tuxedo Mask (Who was hunted down
by Galaxia on his way to the University); The oh-so-cute Chibi Chibi appears
(I can't reveal her
secret yet... I have to save something for next time.) |
The "Star Seeds" are extracted form the Sailor's foreheads. The Sailor Starlights, with microphones on their heads, look like Madonna's dancers, although, they're really a group of singers in their everyday lives. Sailor Moon Sailor Stars has a new theme song for the first time. |
Hmm... so you haven't seen the whole series, huh?.....
No problem.... You can use these excuses to get you out of trouble
<WARNING: They're
only useful for Sailor Moon S on foward>:
