The OWSG should be out today or tommorow...well, sometime this week. Check there. N:OW! Tom sat back in the OSDF control room, having completed his role helping with the new OW!98/99 attack. While Nyakun plotted, planned, and generally did whatever it was he was doing at the moment, Tom decided to keep himself busy. "I'm gonna go take down the Christmas decorations." He said. "MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Nyakun replied. After taking down much ignored missletoe, countless wreathes, and finally, somehow managing to get the huge tree out the front door and by the curb, Tom began to take down the stockings from the chimney. As he pulled them down one by one, Nyakun, Katie, Hota-Ohki, Regulus , H-Katie, and all the other OSDFers I'm leaving out for brevity, he finally came to his own stocking. As he took it down, he noticed it felt a little heavier than the rest. Looking inside, the recently exorcised Otaku's face took on an expression of joy never before known to man, woman, child, or otaku. In the toe of the stocking, with a little note were a set of keys. Pulling out the note, Tom read to himself "Tom, I saw what they did to your car. I know it's not standard procedure to give presents unless you've been good, but what the hell. Your author made it through the year without killing anyone, and that's close enough. Look out in the garage. --Santa" Running down stairs like a bat out of hell, leaving smoking foot prints, and a string of run-over NO, Tom hauled ass to the garage. Inside, bathed in a glorious spotlight, gleaming from extra clearcoat, and lots of wax sat the KAV. Jumping in, Tom found another note taped to the steering wheel. "I thought you'd like it. ^_^ I got it as close to the last one as I could, and I added two or three little tricks of my own. Your top speed has been upped by 75%, and there is now an anti-theft device that prevents the car from starting without your voiceprint, thumbprint, and a scan of your shades. There's one other little trick behind that button marked "6" over there, but you'll have to find out about it on your own. Just make sure you're in an open space. --Santa" Waterfall style tears of Joy cascaded from behind Tom's shades, which had changed to the brightest shade of whatever color 'happy' is on those mood rings you ever saw. Suddenly, another note appeared next to Tom. "Merry belated Christmas ya crazy mechanic. --The Author" ----------------- Tom See? I can get a new car without going into a 15K techno-babble session!
