"Arg," growled Nightman, loath to bean the vote-counter. "You know, I'm
not sure people are actually UP for voting yet, you know? There are a
number of declared candidates but only Anteros is doing much
campaigning. I think it might be because people tend to get distracted
with other things this time of year. Maybe we should postpone the
election for a while, until more people are into the swing of things."

"Well, it's a possibility."

"By the way, would you help me do my taxes this year? I don't want
Harold Uchibori trying to get me for back taxes again this year."

Rubious sweatdropped. While he was distracted, Nightman whipped a
snowball at him. It was kind of weak (Nightman not being great shakes at
pitching) but it whammed into the side of the snowplow NEAR Rubious.  

"Hey you," he said, reaching out the window to grab snow off the roof of
the plow. "I'll get you for that...!"
