Meanwhile, on Tuxedo Mech, Chibi-Youma was having trouble with his
controls. No matter which buttons he pushed, or how he turned his
levers, the blinking lights in front of him kept blinking in the same
pattern. "Hey, Chibi-Washu: my controls aren't working."

C-W looked over C-Y's shoulder. "They look just fine to me. Why do you
have your screen lid down?"

"Monitor lid?"

C-W tugged at the bottom of the panel of blinking lights, causing them
to retract and reveal a flat panel display, currently showing an
unidentifiable 3D graphic.

"I've been doing nothing this entire fight, haven't I?"

C-W shrugged. "Don't worry. I designed this mech to be piloted by one
or two people. Speedie's and Dreadite's controls are the only ones
actually doing anything."

C-Y pikued. "And everyone else's...?"

"Wired into a Duke Quakem 3Doom game. I figured we might as well come
along for the ride..."

"Pi kaaa!" Pikachu stuck his tongue out at C-W.

C-W glanced back at her screen in annoyance. "...and guess who's
winning 2 to 1? Wait...we're receiving a transmission."

Everyone glanced at C-Y.

"What?"

Dreadite looked like he was trying to see through C-Y's chest. "Isn't
your power source a crystal in the center of Otaku World?"

"Near the center...and that's supposed to be a secret."

C-W shrugged. "It's in your Writer's Guide."

"Chibi-Washu, remember that talk we had about not referring to the
script to resolve dramatic tension?"

"No. We never had one."

"Speedie," C-Y requested, with face firmly planted in the floor, "could
you remind me not to take the moral high ground when I don't have a clue
what I'm doing?"

Speedie pikued, then shrugged. "Ok. You wanted me to remind you not
to..."

"Thanks."

"Don't mention it."
