| ...right into Sailor D'ni, who was out looking for Party supplies.
| "Who are you? And what's you faction? If you're Amichanian, you're dead
meat,
| if you're OSDF, you're OK as long as you aren't a Haruka fan, and Rei and
| Minkachanians I have a weak spot for. And if you're Hotaruchanian,
welcome
| brother, and feel free to join the faction. I'm Sailor D'ni, leader of
the
| Hotaruchanians. We're a small faction, just getting started, but we have
big
| plans. Well?" Sailor D'ni asked.
|
| TBC?

Coby and Socrates quickly turned to face the arrival. Surprised, amused,
bewildered and preparing for St. Paddy's Day, they looked at each other,
wondering what to make of the speech.

"Hi," Coby whispered. "Are you the local Mojo-Jojo, who can enlighten me
on the paths of the senshi?"

Sensing the possibility of a convert, Sailor D'ni replied, rather
deviously, "Weeeelll...yes, I am. Would you like to hear about the glories
of Hotaruchanians?"

"Maybe later. What about all the factions as a whole?"

"As a whole? I'll try...Reichanians are okay, but a little
temper...Amichanians are dimpy dorks deserving to be shot on
sight...Makochanians, all static, no electricity...Minakochanians can warm
anyone's heart with their comical antics...the OSDF's okay, but Hotaru is a
goddess...don't bother with Neutralians...the Shogunate & Assorted
Factions are wimps compared to the true power of Hotaru...all shall bow to
the glory of Hotaru!"

Coby pikued, then pikued again. "So, what you're saying is that all the
factions have their Merits and Flaws. Well, do you know a nice, quiet,
intelligent faction for a sluagh like me?"

D'ni was thinking deep thoughts. *Oh, crawsfoot! If he finds the truth
about Amichanians, he'll be on the list! Then I'll have to seriously maim
him! Think quick!* "I was wondering, what exactly is a sluagh[1]?"

"Well," he said, "a sluagh is a type of the old faeries. Mostly moody,
somber, and gothic, I never quite fell for that thought. I was the one
that kept cuddly stuffed animals. As info brokers, I want to find out
about the Wars, hoping to keep a chronicle of histories about it."

"So you're interested in factions? Why don't we go back to the
Hotaruchanian stronghold[2], where we can discuss business?"

Coby, clearly puzzled by her constant references to Hotaru, said, "Great
Mojo-Jojo, give me a moment to confer with my companion." To Socrates, he
muttered, "Who's the most intelligent senshi?"

Socrates responded by whipping out a TV/VCR and inserting a copy of "Sailor
Mercury's Greatest & Most Embarassing Moments." With each second, Coby's
eyes widened. They especially widened at the alleyway scene in the ep
featuring Hercules the Cat.

At the end, Coby asked, "Soc, was Jupiter actually looking up Mercury's
fuku?"

"That's a question best left for the philosophers."

To Sailor D'ni, he whispered, "Sailor D'ni, of the exalted Hotaru-chan,
there shall always be a bond between us, you taking it upon yourself to
greet me. But I feel the path of war is not my destiny. Against your
biased advice, I wll join the...the..." Looking at Socrates, he asked,
"What the faction's name?"

"Amichanians," the little bat said.

"Right, Amichanians. I shall join the Amichanians."

Sailor D'ni looked fine, with only a slight darkening around her eyes,
which she promptly closed. "Hmmm...an...interesting...choice. Now, I'm
going to give you until the count of 3 to give me a very, Very, VERY good
reason why you picked that faction."

"1.
"2!
"3!?"

By that time, Coby and Socrates were well out of the range of tatical
nukes, looking for the Amichanian peers. The air still tingled, hinting
that he used a means to wisely augment their escape.
