P:OW!  It's been so long since I've made an OW! post that I have no
idea.



  As the old, well, not that old, Universal looked over into the
Otakuworld he noticed quite a few things had changed about the
place. It had been a long time since he was here.  A lot of the old
warriors had either retired or had taken long
sabbaticals having been replaced by new, eager warriors. He was
beginning to wonder if there was a place for him here now. He wondered
if he could go back to being a Makochanian. Did the Makochanians still
exist. If they did would the even recognize him? Would the welcome him
in or would they turn him away?  Did the Makochanian base, the IO-A,
even exist anymore?  No matter.  Even if it turned out that these things
were true, he still had the fire of a warrior burning in his belly. He
would still fight-he had to fight-somehow, someway--for anyone.  Maybe
he would become sort of a missionary and lend his services out to the
highest bidder.  Nah. It was time to join a faction and be part of a
group.  He was tired of wondering aimlessly throughout the Otakuworld
and being alone.  He preferred to fight for a faction that represented
one of the inner senshi. But which one?  The Usagichanians?  Not sure if
they still even exist.  The Rei&Venuschanians (or whatever)?  Same
status.  The Amichanians?  Maybe.
This brought up some underlying questions: How would he approach them?
And how could he fight in the name of another senshi when his sense of
allegiance to Mako-sama was so strong. No matter. He would deal with
that situation when it came up.
   As he climbed down from atop his perch and made his way into the
Otakuworld to a destination unknown, he suddenly came up with an idea.
"I don't know why I didn't think of this before." Universal said as he
reached into his hammerspace. "I'll place an ad in the Otaku newspaper."
Pulling out a pad and pen he began to scribe:

                JOB WANTED: OTAKU WARRIOR. LOOKING FOR
                A HOME.  FORMER MAKOCHANIAN.  EXPERIENCE
                2 YEARS OR SO.  HAVE OWN TOOLS AND MUCH
                FIGHTING EXPERIENCE BUT WILLING TO LEARN
                MORE. SALARY NEGOTIABLE. CAN BE REACHED C/O
                THIS NEWSPAPER.

"Former Makochanian." Looking at the words cut through him like a cold
winter wind. "Well, factions are always looking for new members.  The
probably look through the newspaper ads too."
    Universal returned the pad and pen back into his hammerspace and
began to make his way towards the newspaper building.
   "Mako-sama, please forgive me. But I don't know what else to do. I
hope you'll understand."
    As he made his way, he came to startling realization, maybe
something that deep in his heart that he already knew, that no matter
what he did from here on out or whatever faction he was affiliated with
that he's always be a Makochanian at heart.
