Snappy was very, very close to getting sick.
The van she happened to be riding in reeked of things unmentionable,
and she wasn't reacting well to that.
That and the fact that the world was streaking by and a rather unholy
rate of speed.
The rest of the passangers didn't seem to notice, but Snappy couldn't
take it any longer.  Gently, she tugged on Mako-sama's sleeve.
"Can you stop, Mako-sama?  I feel icky..."
Usagi mumbled from the backseat, "Those brownies would help...."
Leloni climbed up to to front and frowned at the chibi otaku.  "We
can't stop now, Snappy we've got to..."
One look at Snappy's face, which was as green as her cute fuku, told
her otherwise.  Leloni turned to Makoto suddenly.  "Pull over."
Makoto threw her a funny glance.  "What?"
"You heard me."



Snappy emerged from the bushes a few moments later, looking a bit pale
but otherwise better.  The whole gang looked about uneasily, neverous
about an Artemisian couter-strike.  "Come on, Snappy, we gotta hurry!"
Leloni urged.

At the same time, Chibiusa turn inexplicably white and began to
scream.  The group turned to see what had frightened Chibiusa.

Standing off in the shadows near the group was a tall, green-skinned
man.  He wore a white turbin over his hairless head and a white cape
with giant shoulderpads on it over a dark blue jumpsuit thing.  He
stood with his arms crossed, frowning a bit, and managed to look very,
very menecing.  He smirked a bit as the people noticed him, revealing
sharp white fangs and a purple tounge.

Usagi promtply screamed and passed out.  Chibiusa, having run out of
scream, simply stood with her mouth open and a big subtitled "AHHHHH!"
beneath her.  Snappy turned even whiter and began to move in the
general direction of Makoto and Leloni.  The green man, however,
grabbed her by the tail.  With one motion, blindingly fast, he threw
her, rather gently, into the air and grabbed ahold of the back of her
fuku.  Then her tucked her under his arm like a odd shaped package.
"Sorry to disturb you.  I just need to borrow this for a while."  With
that he turned, and lifted off of the ground.  All the small group of
cat-snatchers could see of Snappy as she was flown away was her little
booted feet and her wildly thrashing tail.  They could hear, however,
her loud scream of "LELONI!!!!!  MAKOTO-SAMA!!!!!!"

As the otaku-napper and napped vanished over the horizon, Leloni and
Makoto, as one, screamed "SNAPPY!!!!!" in return.
