Kane came in the door about then.  He was still carrying his brick and looking
for a window to break.  Seeing Aureal sitting at the computer, he decided to
greet her.

"Hey, Aureal!  What's up?  You're looking awfully.... purple... today!  Nice
Mercury pic.  By the way, you haven't seen Medellia Blue or Sailor Chaos X
lately have you?  I got separated from everyone a while back while looking for a
window to...." he noticed Sailor D'ni about then, "....uh, clean to a streakless
luster... Yeah that's it."

D'ni sighed, "I know you're trying to break one of my windows out with that
brick."

Kane sweatdropped, "No... no.... it's nothing like that.... You see, I saw this
brick had fallen out of the wall, so I was looking around for some mortar to put
it back and...."

"It's all right, Kane," said D'ni, "in fact I'll even tell where there's some
windows for you to break."

"Uh," stammered Kane.  "Thanks... I think?  Hey, why're you being so nice all of
a sudden?  You *do* remember saying that if I showed up here again that you
would kill me, don't you?"

D'ni shrugged, "I happen to be in a good mood, that's all.  There's time for
that later, so run along now and have fun breaking windows.  There are some out
back.  Aureal and I are downloading Mercury pics, right now.  Here, have a
jellybean."  She tossed Kane a jellybean.  He caught it and, after inspecting it
for poison and such, popped it in his mouth

"Yeah, I last saw MB out back near those windows, too," added Aureal, not even
looking up from the computer.

"Uh, ok, well... I'll be going now.... I guess," said Kane, backing slowly out
of the room.

He wandered the HBC looking for the windows that D'ni had told him about.  On
the way, he ran into MB and SCX.  They were discussing the new glaive of MB's,
among other things.

"Hey, Kane," greeted SCX.  "Where ya been?"

"I've been searching this whole place looking for a window to break with my
brick, and until now I haven't been able to find any low enough for me to throw
it through," said Kane.

Medellia Blue pointed and said, "There's some, right over there."

"I know, D'ni told me about them," said Kane.  "By the way, that's a nice glaive
you have there.... where'd you get it?"

"D'ni gave it to me," said MB, holding it up for Kane to inspect.

Kane frowned, "She didn't give *me* a glaive...."

"Maybe she saw your scythe and figured you didn't need one," offered SCX.

Kane brightened and said, "Oh, well that's okay I guess."  Then he darkened
again, "Has D'ni seemed a bit *too* nice to you guys lately?"

"Well, yeah," said MB, "I think she's probably up to something but we don't have
any way of figuring out what she has planned yet."

"I'm going to take advantage of it and break some stuff," said Kane, heading for
the windows.  He looked up at the windows, then hefted the brick.  With a mighty
heave, he flung the brick into the lowest window.

The brick bounced off, leaving not a scratch.  Kane pikued and picked up the
brick again.  With another mighty heave, he tossed the brick at another window.

Again, it bounced off, not leaving a scratch.  Kane hmmed to himself and went up
to inspect the windows.  He saw a little sticker on them that read "New and
improved break proof windows.  Immune to any and all projectiles such as
baseballs, bullets, and bricks."

Kane stared at the windows in shock.  Then he threw his head back and screamed,
"DAMN YOU AND YOUR CURSED EVIL PLOT TO FOIL ME AND MY WINDOW BREAKING FUN,
SAILOR D'NI!!!!"  Then he dropped to his knees and began to sob.  He thought he
faintly hear dark laughter echoing through the halls of the HBC.

TBC....?  Hehehe
