--WOW! No, I'm not dead. I'm sorry I haaven't written any fanfiction for over a year and a half.. but that's how long it's been since I've watched Yu Yu Hakusho, and really.. I've kinda forgot most of it >.> hehehe. Doing my best here!!!
To the point, this will be my farewell fanfiction to Yu Yu Hakusho. Yes, you read that right. I will no longer be writing YYH fics after this one. I PROMISE to finish this one. I will not break it. I'm sorry to those who were interested in my other fics. I have decided to not finish them because I totally forgot what I was writing about. ^.^()
But.. If you notice, all my fics.. well about all my fics seem to deal with the same thing. This fic will be pulling all those ideas together, and it WILL be finished.
I hope in some way this fic will touch your heart, because it comes from mine.
Enjoy.

January 1st
I can’t believe it. It’s really happening. I had visions of it ever since I was a child, but I didn’t believe they were really true. Today… I received the invitation to a tournament in Makai.
It reads:
Hello Human!
You are a chosen fighter for the Makai Martial Arts Tournament. The dispute for this is over the ability for demons to pass through the portal to be able to freely go to the Nigenkai.
The Spirit Word has chosen you to help stop this act. A designated place for you to stay during this event has already been made. All you have to do is get on the ship near the Okinawa base at midnight. Make sure to be on time and don’t miss this event. If you do not attend, I’m afraid you shall be punished.
Enjoy your remaining days.

The day was like any other. It was clear and bright outside and people seemed to pay no attention to the fact that she was even there. People were bumping into her right from left, not even apologizing. Lockers slammed shut as the school bell rang, echoing throughout the halls. It became deserted. There she was, all alone. That feeling of loneliness, emptiness, a yearning for something… It was all pulling at her as she dazed off into the never ending hallway.
“Miss Elizabeth, are you coming? I know you are new here, and I don’t want you to start bad habits.” A teacher yelled down the hall. Elizabeth turned around, throwing away her face of wonder and placing a smile on it. “Yes sir. I’m very sorry.”
She followed the teacher into the small room and sat herself at her assigned seat by the overly sized window on the left side of the room. The young teacher went up front and began his lecture on World History.
Elizabeth sighed to herself as she propped her head on her palms. ‘Is this all of life?’ she thought to herself. ‘What ever happened to the adventure, the excitement, and simple joy?’ She tried to calm herself down. She always did this to herself. ‘I need to be here at school. These are things I need to know. And….. adventure.. is ..what I make it to be…’ Elizabeth sighed at her lame excuse to herself. She grew bored of this conversation. Glancing to her right, she gave a heart warming smile inside. There he was. The one every girl in school loves and every guy despises, Shuichi Minamino. How could one not love such beauty? Life seems to be so closed that automatically seeing such beauty shakes someone inside. Even though she has deep feelings for him, she had never talked to him. He never seemed interested and she didn’t want him to think of her like everyone else. Of all the things she was, she was definitely not a follower. There were so many things she wanted to know about him, to explore about him. For some reason, she dreamed that he was the key to her adventure, her excitement, and joy. How childish she was, to think of such things, and at her age!
Elizabeth completely zoned out of class through the whole period. When the bell rang to switch classed she jumped up. “Oh no, what happened?!” she whispered to herself, starring off blankly with a dazed look.
“We have homework, that’s what happened.” A voice replied to her question with a slight chuckle. Elizabeth dropped her mouth slightly and blinked. ‘Did…he…’ Quickly turning her head, she meet gazes with a pair of beautiful emerald eyes. She giggled it off and smiled. “Of course, I’m just…. Tired today I guess.” Shuichi nodded his head and headed out the door. Once he left, Elizabeth slammed her History book into her forehead. “I’m TIRED TOdaY?! Gaahhh!” she repeatedly hit her head. “WHAT was I thinking?!” She then stopped and placed the book back where it belonged, as she began to look at the front of the room with a frown. “You’re not home anymore Elizabeth. Get use to it. It’s just a guy. Get over it.” After the short conversation with herself she slipped out the door.
