"Stupid human stuff." I growled under my breath as I fell once again. Ice skating certainly did not agree with me, once again it was Yukina who has suggested it so I had to do it. I'd do anything for her, she was my sister and I had to prove myself to be good enough to be considered her brother, even if it took all of my life.
"What's wrong Hiei? You've never ice skated before have you?" Kurama bent down behind me and helped me up. His hands lingered on my sides a second too long. Other than that there was no outward signs of what had happened between us last night. Not that I minded last night, but both of us had our reasons for keeping it quiet. For me it ws an outward sign of weekness. For him, he didn't want to hurt his mother. I had watched her too sometimes. He doesn't give that human enough credit. I know humans are normally weak but she is stronger than most.
Last night was nice. I smile inside at the rememberance of his warm hands against my body.
"Hiei?"
"Yes?"
"You didn't answer my question. Do you want some help. I'll teach you."
My pride couldn't take that, but I bit down on the protest that would normally come from my lips. "Hn. If you want."
He skated around so that he ws in front of me and took my hands, "Slowly." He led me around the ice rink once. Twice. we kept like that until he let go of my hands for a second and I fell forward right into him. He caught me and grinned playfully. He was enjoying this way too much.
"So Hiei will you meet me tonight a little before sunset?" He whispered.
"Hn. Stupid fox."
"Good. Oh here comes Yukina."
"Are you Having fun, Hiei? Yukina smiled brightly. I shrugged. The answer was of course yes and no both. I enjoyed falling into Kurama's arms but I did not enjoy skating.
"What about you Kurama?"
Kurama smiled one of his heartbreakng smiles at her and answered "Yes. I always have fun Ice Skating Yukina. It was a wonderful idea."
Yukina giggled and went off to ask the others if they were having fun too. I looked around. Yuusuke and Keiko were arguing about something. Kuwabara was standing off to the side looking slightly embarassed because everyone else in the rink was staring at Yuusuke and Keiko.
I sighed in irritation. Stupid Humans.
I entered Kurama's window just as the sun was setting. He had a basket in his hand and a blanket in his other arm. I looked at him curiously.
"We're going on a picnic. Want to meet me outside?" he didn't wait for me to answer but instead he left the room heading out. I hurried to meet him.
"My mother is out now so i thought a picnic would be nice. You don't mind do you?"
Now he asks. After packing the stuff and taking it all the way outside. I didn't say anything.
"I know this place in the woods. It's secluded and really pretty in the early evening."
I followed as he lead to the woods. By the time we arrived the sun was just setting. The clearing was truly beautiful. I watched as Kurama spread out the blanket. I admired his long red hair. His human form was extremely attractive. I find myself wondering when I fell for him. When did I fall in love with this exquisite Youko?
Kurama sat down on the blanket and motioned for me to sit beside him. I sat beside him, curious as to what he was planning really. He leaned forward and kissed me lightly and quickly. "Hiei, I love you, did you know that?"
"Hn." I sat there shocked, frozen.

FD: He he he..no one kill me or I won't write about what happened.
Hiei: it's none of their business anyway.

Hiei: Who cares? Hmph. Stupid fanfic writer.
