"Let me come with you." I said quietly.
Kurama looked at me worridly and shook his head. "No, you don't remember anything Hiei, what if you have to fight? I don't want you getting hurt."
"I don't want me getting hurt either. I want to come." I stood up. "Besides it's for me isn't it? Why would you put yourself in danger for me?
Was..Am I that important to you?" The pain in his eyes was almost unmistakable. I didn't want him to be hurt, I just wanted to remember. And to get away from that annoying man.
"Yes, yes you are Hiei." He turned ansd walked away heading off to go get my cure, without me. After a few seconds I followed.
"Kurama?" He looked up startled I was beside him. "I have to remember."
He just shook his head sadly. "You aren't going to give up are you?"
This Makai was a strange place, different from the world we were in. We were walking, as we had been doing for the past hree days. So far we had come across no one, nothing dangerous. Not yet, but Kurama knew where the dangers were and we avioded some of the carniverous wildlife. I was glad that the youkai who made me lose my memories was dead. I wanted to kill her though. I couldn't remember something, and it hurt Kurama so deeply. He never said anything about it though. When I asked him what was wrong, he would tell me that nothing was wrong.
This plant we were looking for grew two days south of here, he said it'd be a long walk. Now I believe him. He had surprised me by changing into his Youko form, but at least he did not look like a girl now. He was still quite beautiful though. After him and the others told me about Youkos and kurama had changed I had been scared. No, not scared, surprised. I didn't really believe them.
It is night now, we have settled in a small camp. Kurama used his powers over plants to make sure we were safe and get food for us.
Kurama has that haunted look in his eyes again. What is wrong with him? I turn over in the blanket that I am sleeping on and think about it. For a long time I am still, so Kurama thinks I must be sleeping i suppose. He whispers something to the wind. "I love you Hiei."
So that is the haunted look. He loves me. Did I know this and love him back? Is that why he is sad? Or did I not love him back and he is sad about getting the cure because this would be his second chance to make me love him? I wonder. As I think about this I drift slowly into the sleep Kurama thought I was in.

It's almost over two or three chapters more at most. Part 7 is almost finished!
