The wind is light and cool- 
Playing with my unruly hair. 

The stars are set ablaze in the mid-knight sky. 
I walk alone again. 

This peace I’ve been searching for on foot. 
Will I ever find it? 

Or will it find me? 

Life is strange. Silly ploys and distractions arrayed everywhere. 


I get caught up in my dreams, my desires… my sought for happiness. I walk on dead grass again. 


Winding and turning, rocky and testing. 
These are the roads I take. 

Through the storms and the everlasting darkness- 
These are the roads I take. 

Will I be taken as a fool? 
Maybe. 

But only fools take the easy way. 
True triumph has its price. 

And I’m willing to pay it. 

I walk alone again. 
Hopes and wishes locked up inside. 

Will I get lost? 
No. 

I have the shooting stars to light my way.
