Send Her My Love
by Dracodawn

Hello all you YU YU HAKUSHO fans out there! This is Dracodawn again presenting you with another Song Fiction. I would have written one sooner, but I just could not find the right song or story. But, I have finally found the song and created a story to go whit it. The  song is titled: "SEND HER MY LOVE" by Journey. The characters involved are Hiei, Kurama, Kuwabara, Yukina, and two other special characters. I hope you like it !^_^!

(Our song fiction begins as Hiei walks into a cafe)
It's been so long
(Hiei sees Kurama sitting at a table and goes over to join him)
Since I've seen her face
(Hiei sighs deeply and asks about Yukina)
You say she's doing fine
(Kurama smiles and says she's doing fine)
I still recall
(Hiei sighs again with relief as his memories drift back to that day)
A sad cafe
(He remembers sitting with Yukina in the very same cafe, at the very same table)
How it hurt so bad to see her cry
(With tears sparkling down her cheeks, Yukina begs Hiei not to leave)
I didn't want to say good-bye
(Reaching over, Hiei wipes Yukina's' tears away then leaves the cafe)
CHORUS:
Send her my love
(He turns around to give Yukina a warm smile, promising that he will return)
Memories remain
(Then turn to leave, fading from view)
Send her my love
(Yukina smiles as a breeze begins to blow outside)
Roses never fade
(Rose petals blow in the breeze as Yukina smiles and touches her stomach)

The same hotel
(Hiei's memories are broken when the bell on the cafe door rings)
The same old room
(Kurama looks up to see Kuwabara coming towards their table)
I'm on the road again
(Hiei gets up to leave, but Kuwabara puts a hand on his shoulder asking telling him to stay)
She needed so much more
(Hiei slowly sits back down, as Kuwabara places an envelope on the table)
Than I could give
(The envelope is addressed to Hiei in Yukina's hand writing)
We knew our love could not pretend
(With trembling hands, Hiei opens the envelope)
Broken hearts can always mend

CHORUS:
Send her my love
(Hiei gasps)
Memories remain
(Looking up at Kuwabara, Hiei sees a soft yet proud smile and tear filled eyes)
Send her my love
(Hiei looks back at the pictures)
Roses never fade
(Looking at Kurama, Hiei hands them over for him to see)
Send her my love
(Kurama smiles and looks up at Kuwabara)
Callin' out her name I'm dreamin'
(The first picture shows a baby girl who has orange hair, with white wisps of hair in the front and black eyes)
Reflections of her face I'm seein'
(The second picture shows a baby boy who has lite green hair, with wisps of black hair in the front and ruby red eyes)
It's her voice
(The third picture shows Yukina in a white kimono, smiling softly as she holds her twins)
That keeps on haunting me
(As the music plays on, Kurama looks up as he hears and sees a black tear shaped gem fall onto the table. Kuwabara pleads with Hiei to come and see Yukina and the twins, for she misses her brother very much. Hiei looks up at Kuwabara and nods)

Send her, send her my love
(The sun shines through the trees as Yukina sits in the park with her twins, waiting for her husband)
Roses never fade
(Suddenly a soft sweet breeze blows, carrying rose petals)
Memories remain
(Yukina looks up to see Kuwabara, Kurama, and Hiei walking towards her and the twins. The twins laugh and run over to Kuwabara, their father)
Send her, send her my love
(Yukina eyes fill with sparkling tears of joy as Hiei gives her a hug. Kurama watches as Kuwabara picks up his daughter and son and gives then to Hiei to hold. As the song ends, Kurama pulls out a camera to capture a family portrait of love)
