Hey there! We’ve got a hot new topic in our lives these days, it’s an art form all the way from Japan. It’s called ‘ANIME’, and it’s caught the eyes of a lot of people in North America. To the Japanese, it’s an everyday thing, to come home, turn the television on and see all these cartoon characters, but on the other hand to us it’s the best thing since sliced bread! Here are some masterpieces.

Sailor Moon- Everybody has heard of the children’s cartoon that has swept Canada by storm. It’s about a group of teenage girls summoned forth to do battle with the forces of evil. Yes, it’s ... Sailor Moon! What you may not know, is that the original Japanese 1st season version is about 20 episodes!

Bubblegum Crisis- This is a non stop roller coaster ride through a futuristic version of Tokyo where four courageous babes in battlesuits are set out to overthrow the sinister corporation called Genom, that manufactures deadly robots called boomers.

Kimagure Orange Road- This show is just down the road from your heart. A touching love story with a twist! You’ll need E.S.P to guess the ending ( I don’t care who you are your heart will break too! ).

Maison Ikkoku- This is another show that will tug at your heart strings, with a young college student trying to get by in an apartment full of crazy party animals ( We can’t forget the ‘KRAMER’ like Yotsuya ). Godai ( The student ) is about to crack, when along comes the new landlord, Kyoko! This arrival is one that will change his life forever!

Dragon Ball Z- This is an all out battle to save the universe from the clutches of evil brings our hero Goku, you may have seen him and his friends on YTV, face to face with creatures from planets with likes that we are yet to even to hear about. This show is a favorite here, and we especially like the fact that it is shown in a toned down version, ( edited ) on FOX.

Dragon Half- Follow Mink on her quest to become human, in a world of adventure ( Don’t cry over spilled Mink! Tee Hee Hee Haa Hmm! ).

Super Cat Girl Nuku Nuku- This is a really cool show about a robot with the mind of a cat, literally

Macross II- Macross is the continuation of the story of ROBO-TECH. If you remember ROBO-TECH, and liked it, you’ll love this!

Neon Genesis Evangelion- What can I say it’s my favorite!!! This is an edge of your seat story with a few very mysterious characters, lots of action, and some comedy too!

Cutey Hunny- Hunny is a super heroine with a big sense of fasion.
