Poem Corner
When The Melody dies
Words displacing minds like rippling water
Like a reflection of the time
Boredom dancing about our heads
Or maybe then its just me
A pin drop in a symphony
Had I dreamed the world
An orchestra of lights and gases
Ever-changing always in motion
I closed my eyes once more
Listening to the symphony of silence
Feeling the gentle breeze between my fingers
And the cool grass as it rustled in the wind
I woke up
And the world died
That is the Question...
Flowers in the morning
Dewdrops in the light
Shadows in the mist
See the birds in flight
Like a rainbow in the sky
Love is there to see
But to take it in your pocket
Alas that can never be
Taken from its bush
With all its dirty lies
Taken from its bush
It withers and soon dies
Love is like a question
Take it in your hand
Love is like a question
Ask it if you can
Like a figure in the mist
Is love a shadow in the heart
Rose petals, no more.
Restless Hearts Beat
Against Angel Wings
How Do I Lament
The Warmth of your Touch
Where Silken Roses Grow
Against a Velvet Sky
Your Lips as Soft as Cherry Blossom
Your Scent Leaves Me in Daze
You are the Stars
Placed Amongst The Heavens
The Keeper of my Heart
The Goddess of my Soul
The lone reed
And the winds bring songs of copper tides,
To wake the cities lost in sky
Bodies lost, and bordered lands,
Voices drowned in blood soaked sand
To the brine we come to die,
To the ocean where the fishies fly
So the army we come to see,
The puppet strings, the faceless deeds
The honor given in defence of land,
But there is none to shake dead mens hands.
