Part III: Fight Hard: with a vengence

Blakness. Then a brite light.
Katari: "am I dead?"
Ranma: "no your in the recovery ward."
Katari opens his eyes and looks straight at ranma.
Ranma: "just dropped by to see how your doing and to find out when
you'd be ready for our rematch."
Katari: "Rematch? What rematch?"
Ranma: "Why, the one where i get to win"
Katari: "not likely. I've already defeated you, so what makes you so
certain that you can defeat me?
Ranma: "I wasn't ready for you then. besides if mousse can beat you,
practicly anyone should theoretically be capable of defeating
you."
Katari: "I just havn't learned to defend against weapons very well yet."
Ranma: "and though I can use any weapon i never bring one into battle."
Katari: "so, what makes you think you can defeat me."
Ranma: "you'll see when you recover."
a couple of weeks later outside of town
Katari: so are you ready for our rematch? you do understand that you
only fight for your honor this time and nothing else?
Ranma: so what do you fight for?
Katari:curiosity and ... pity.
Ranma: look i don't need your pity. you better get ready 'cause here
i come. PERFECT MOKO TAKABISHA!
Ranma launches a ball of golden light the size of a house straight up
in the air. katari seeing this covers his head with his cape as it
comes down. it explodes with a great fury leaving nothing standing
exept ranma ... and katari. the ground however is blown into a ten
foot deep hole the size of a city block. a few seconds later both
fall the ten feet but land on their feet.
Ranma: hey! how'd you survive that?
Katari: simple. i run the The Shop of Mystic Articals of Hong Kong
China. three years ago, when i was 17 i ran across a scroll
on how to magically protect mateirials against ki attacks. ki
can not get through the mateirial. my cape is so protected.
thus your ki never hit me.
Ranma: and that's also how you return the attack. you just wrap it in
your cape until you're ready to release it back at me.
ranma does a flying leap and lands behind katari. as katari turns he
blocks the kick aimed at his head, wrapping it in his cape. ranma
leans forward and delivers a katsu tenshin amegurican throwing katari
back.as katari stumbles backwards ranma losses his balance, falling to
the ground.katari waits, prepared for ranma's next move. ranma leaps to
his feat and tries to leap over katari again. katari uses his cape as a
whip, wrapping it around ranma's foot, pulling him from the air and
slaming him to the ground. ranma auickly regains his feet. he throws a
fake punch with his left hand then slams katari in the face with his
right. he does a revised katsu tenshin ameguriken with 90% of the
punches being feighnts. the rest all land, rocking katari back on his
feet. ranma then does a moko takabisha at close range, slamming it into
katari's chest before he has a chance to block. katari falls to his knees
and hands panting.
Katari: you are good. i can't beat you this time.
Ranma: told ya the only reason you beat me the first time was that you
your tekniques were knew to me. ryoga does the same thing every
once in a while
Katari: would you mind taking on a student? i can pay.
Ranma: nuh u...
Genma comes out of no where putting his paw over ranma's mouth. he holds
up a sign saying " he'd love to".ranma grabs the pandas paw and throws
him.
Ranma:whatcha do that for?
genma:*sign* we need money boy. do as your told and take him as a student.
katari:i'll also throw in my only bottle of drowned man.
Ranma: deal.
katari moves to his pack, digs for a while then brings out the bottle.
genma quickly grabs it and pours it over himself before ranma or
katari can react.
ranma: hey old man that was mine!
genma: thanks boy, you have done your father a great service.
ranma: katari, you wouldn't happen to have ...
katari: i'm sorry, that was the only bottle i had.
ranma: i guess i'll still train you. when do you want to start?
katari: next month. i must get my things in order in china.
ranma: okay, see ya then.
katari goes to china. more to come in the sequal to the trilogy
All charicters in this story with the exclusion of Katari Soroku are
Ramiko Tackahashi's and I do not have her permishion to use then. I
