Brief Introduction:
Hello and welcome to my site history,I'll try to be brief here,cause I don't like to give out too much personal info.
I'm a high school graduate with honors,certificates,also attented a technical school for Computer Basics,MS Office User Specialist and Website Design/Graphic Designer
(using Adobe Photoshop versions 5.5-7).Currently studying to keep up to date of whats new.
Became Geocities member back in 97,created 1st webpage based on my friends and myself at a local library here in the Bronx.The title was called "King of Losers 97",poking fun of my friends like in a version as if they are fighting characters,the site covered jokes on everybody and everything that ever happaned at the library branch,making stories of course.
Before that began creating anime webpages on Sept 96,studied the use of Javascript tools,online graphic generators and such.My first site as collector of comic books and anime was called "Cyber Freeza's Realm" lasted for three years till I changed the name and modified it to "The Manga Shrine" which is still online now As well as my other fan site "Super 17's Mecha Domain".
Before my "Manga Babes Shrine" which came to me as a dream one night,
("gotten some new ideas somehow,I dunno") my site was originally called the "Anime Babes Shrine",didn't like it so I changed it to make it into a big multi fan site,known as you guessed it MANGA BABES SHRINE!!
In N.Y.C. I attended as well as volunteered at the Big Apple Comic Con 2 years ago (97-98 and current),buying tons of videos and t-shirts as a big fan.Also became a freelance webdesigner,made over 96 web sites for people,and made alot of money doing commissions! Man.. I was very happy about that. ^_~
Personal Gain:
As far as webskills go,I consider myself "MEDIOCRE".I'm close to exceeding to professional level. I'm continuing to learn as much as possible along the way though,so that I can inprove on my web abilities.Currently I am trying to attempt to be the first or maybe the second fan otaku to ever win so many anime or non-anime awards.I like awards..there cool...and the people who made them are real pros.I will admit that there are some awards that are very difficult to win,each site has their own rules by reading their criteria,so they go by layout,design,and creativity.I'm still uncertain if my website is worthy of recognition,thats all I've been looking for.
Ever since my so-called buddy of mine told me to use tables to increase loading time,it gave me problems from the start. My attempt was to find a way to create a more easier navigation,and during that time serveral webmasters offered ideas.One of which involve using a table format similar to a certain place.
After a while upon completion I wanted to further make changes to my website,but due to server problems and horrible loading times, lets say "45 secs" or more,the page got stuck like that for awhile.All I could do was keep constant updating and email other people and friends.Also I had projects to do and artists to contact,not to mention work,my girl,family business,hmmmm.. funny how it appears that I do.. "have a life".
