Techniques
Kaoru/Yahiko/Yutarou
Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu, during the Rurouni Kenshin series this style seems to be very weak. All the users of this school use a shinai (Yahiko for Example) or a Bokken (Kaoru). There are no killing techniques like Gatotsu, or flashy moves like Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuu, but, this school has proven itself to be useful in some of the RK series fights.
Waza
Hiza Hijiki, used against Kamatari in the bettle at the Aoiya in, this is a skill where Kaoru forced the hilt of her broken bokken against Kamatari's kneecap, shattering her bokken.
Hadome (blade block), the first part of the Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu ougi, it is a sword block technique, which it utilized by crossing your wrists, and grabbing the blade of your opponents sword with the back of your hands.
Hawatari (blade clash), the second part of the ougi, where the user takes control of the opponents blade by slipping their backhands along it, then thrusting forward with the handle of the shinai.
Ryu-shou-sen Modoki(copy), this technique is an altered version of Kenshin's Ryu shou sen, that was used during the Jinchu saga. Instead of targetting the throat or chin like the Ryu shou sen normally would, the Ryu-shou-sen Modoki targets the area close to the elbow.
